One of my co-workers at work was trying to explain the progression to me, half way through I was thinking "wtf"? But he did warn me it was done weirdly before he explained it to me.
Microsoft hasn't done jack squat for RPGs, although sometimes something cool ends up on Xbox like Lost Odyssey. Sony and Nintendo have done great with the RPG genre though, especially in their early years.
I'm still looking forward to the next game in the series, so how do I get that PS4 theme anyway?
This, I would like the classics I paid for on the PS4, I still have the PS3 but I'd much prefer to boot up the PS4.
The last thing on my wishlist for Sony is BC for PS1/PS2 games, I understand the PS3 is a bit too much of an ask because of the Cell processor's architecture, but PS1 and PS2 is doable (at least I can digitally get the classics I don't have discs for).
I will pay full price for this game on release and not wait for a price drop. I'm going to try and get some of my friends to buy it too so I have someone to party with.
I spend significantly more on single player games, I don't really own that many multi-player games and I spend most of my time in half of them by myself. If single-player games disappeared, I'd hardly purchase any games.
Most of this list is a throw away.
I really wanted to play Skies of Arcadia but you never really saw Dreamcasts in Australia, which was a shame.
It would be good for competition but my wallet would cry.
I care, if GOG had the exact library that Steam does, I'd make all my purchases over there, I just don't get much choice when it comes to pc games.
I'm enjoying it but I always loose track of my health, would have liked more sound or visual ques on that one but otherwise I think it's good.
It reminds me of Doom, a properly modernized version of old school shooters with a coat of new paint. I've been really enjoying the game so far.
As long as I can enjoy it as much as DMC 3, I'll be really happy, DMC 4 was just ok for me.
Without having played it yet and from watching youtube videos and reviews, it seems to hover at a 6 or 7 which is what I pretty much expected for this game. I'd like to believe it's probably a solid 7. I find the voices take me a while to get used though.
No it was a mixed bag when it was released, I doubt they'll ever resolve all it's issues, so in my books the games is about as good as it's ever going to get by this point.
@nix,
Again this just goes to show you shouldn't listen to the fan boys.
I've got my fingers crossed for a new armored core, seriously FromSoftware, I will throw money at you for that game.
Well at this point in time Microsoft is kinda boned unless they pull their head out and do something, good thing anyone who owns a PS4 is in for a good time over the next year or two at least.
