@morganfell,
urgh, I should have thought of that, oh well, I never did get back to the episodes after I skipped them. I never had an issue with it having live action parts, it's just the streaming was a turn off for me.
@yellowgerbil,
Was that a Neptunia reference? +1
I really don''t like the direction they're heading in, the 360 was a good direction for Microsoft despite the RRod early in the gen and the drop off of support towards the end. Now they're pushing hard for a service model and it's not something most people want (look at the intial Xone reveal, I consider that very anti-consumer hence the massive backlash and backpedaling).
Personally I don't care for most services since I rarely ever end up using them.
The only game Microsoft is playing is the long game of mediocrity at this point (the 360 was a significantly better console). Sony defiantly has a stronger foundation at this point, they've set they're studios to pump out a steady stream of enjoyable exclusives. And with such a large fanbase they can afford to take more riskier actions like being the first to release a VR headset. I'm pretty sure Microsoft waited to see what Sony did with the PRO before they started work on the Xo...
Isn't battlefield incorporating a Battle Royale mode? Call of Duty and Destiny would be obvious candidates, Destiny more so out of desperation and Call of Duty just because popularity.
Ray Tracing is very demanding, if anything, we'll see very limited application of it used in games, I also don't expect next gen consoles to have this feature in any games.
Yep, I imagine only very small portions or things will get the raytracing in any given game, otherwise it'll be too demanding to render in real time.
This, it was an alright game, but I hated streaming the live action parts, also the gameplay was mediocre, could use improvement. The graphics were nice though.
I actually Won't buy anything off the Microsoft store, I always wait for Steam or GOG to get it first, otherwise I just don't buy the game.
Anymore? If I remember correctly, Microsoft rarely releases sales numbers for any of their consoles.
I would have been fine with a remaster, just saying. Personally I think this game is to ambitious to succeed.
We really do need more horror games, it's a genre we've been lacking 8n for a while.
#goldbuy,
This, this so much. No chance of it existing on windows store.
I would argue that Xbox's fan base wouldn't be interested in Jrpgs but the console is so starved for games that almost any decent title would be welcome at this point.
I can see us getting new consoles in 2020, Ryzen 3 comes out next year and it'll be on 7nm, so if 2020, I can see why people expect it, certainly not this year and unlikely next year.
@Mmmkay,
That was a massive mistake on their part, they learnt their lesson... I hope.
Can we have Ryzen 3 very early next year then? I really want to upgrade but Ryzen 2 wasn't compelling enough for me.
We'll definitely get slims and elite consoles, but PROs are a question mark.
Pokemon is still popular, I hear some of the gens are hit and miss but I think we can all agree that most people loved the first gen. I'm looking to get into pokemon again on the 3DS or Switch when I clear some of my backlog.
