of COURSE they are.
*sigh*
some of you guys should be politicians considering how expertly you flip flop without even KNOWING it. bravo.
i checked my download history yesterday and it wasn't listed.
saw it was a PSP game, and deleted it. lol. ah well.
their games always do well, even when they aren't being overhyped.
they've earned their fanbase over years of making excellent games, just like Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch (although Sucker Punch was always the behind ND and Insomniac; thanks to inFAMOUS, that's changed a bit).
if i recall, Uncharted 1 didn't get much fanfare at the time of it's release (during "The Great PS3 Hate Wave of 2007"), and it wasn't until games like MGS4, LBP, and Killzone 2 came...
woke up this morning, looked at the upcoming 360 exclusives release list, then looked at the upcoming PS3 exclusives list (with 4 hitting THIS MONTH ALONE), and got all butt hurt.
i generally don't let the inner fanboy in me out, but this is getting ridiculous.
i know it's an editorial, and i'm all for being free to speak your mind in an editorial, but at this stage in the game, anti-PS3 sh*t just doesn't work.
Sony has got their act together, and is pro...
so for me it's basically Uncharted 2 (which i'll hopefully get tomorrow or sometime next week), and Ratchet 2 on my must haves.
i'd love to get Afrika, Brutal Legend, Borderlands, and Way of the Samurai 3 (i own the first one and love it), but i'm afraid i won't be able to pick them up.
Uncharted 2 is paid for, but i still need to scrape together the dough for Ratchet 2. i hate trading in games, but i may just have to do that.

Uncharted 2, Ratchet 2, Killzone 2, MGS4, even inFAMOUS embarrasses the competition, and the multi-plats of the day are NOWHERE near the insults that the multi-plats of 2007 were.
seriously, i have excellent eyesight, and i just don't see the differences. we all know the PS3 and 360 have different gra...
copyrighted top down/isometric gameplay utilizing boomerangs, hookshots, and swords?
good to know. *rolls eyes*
come on guys, get off of your high horses.
if From Software wants to give an homage to Zelda, it's totally within their creative rights to do so.
it'd be different if the hero in their game was named Link, was trying to rescue a Princess named Zelda from an evil wizard named Ganondorf. now THOSE are actually owned by Nintendo.
and loved them both.
Level 5 is currently busy on other things (like WKC2).
i'm pretty sure Sony hasn't forgotten about Dark Cloud, both entries in the series landed on Greatest Hits, i believe, which means they sold over 500,000 units.
on topic, people need to stop treating things like this as a bad thing.
not a single article ripped Gears of War for being a Killswitch and Winback ripoff (moreso Killswitch than Winback), but god forbid Sony...
ALL of us, from Xbox fans, to PS3 fans, to Wii fans, KNOW that a 4.5 is a good score. it's a GREAT score.
but the problem is (and the even the fanboys know this), is that, compared to it's peers, which have scored 5/5 (Batman:AA, Gears of War 1 and 2, Need for Speed: Shift), this 4.5 score is simply not CONSISTENT (a drum i've been banging for a LONG time; since this generation started, really).
Batman, Gears, Fallout 3, etc, are all GREAT games. Uncharted 2 is, at t...
there is "One Game" to rule them all and bring the masses in droves is ridiculous.
just because all Microsoft has in it's basket is Halo (and to a lesser extent, Gears of War), doesn't mean that Sony is limited to the same thing.
they have 30 developers working away on products, and the Playstation brand has never had just ONE killer app. it's called a gaming LIBRARY.
not all gamers are into the same thing, so not just one game will appeal to E...
anyway, Uncharted 2 is shaping up to be awesome, and since i'm a diehard fan of the series, i don't need any reviews telling me how awesome the sequel is.
i've been pimping the Uncharted series since the first, unlike a lot of bandwagon hoppers that never gave the series it's due.
Protip: The first was one of the best games of 2007 along with Bioshock and Mass Effect. it got nitpicked due to short length and no MP, while Bioshock, which ALSO featured a short length a...
i'm addicted to that game. possibly the best RPG i've played all generation next to White Knight Chronicles (Japanese import), and Valkyria Chronicles.
been humping the leg of every magazine/site writing reviews for Uncharted 2.
there's just no way that this game is as awesome as everyone is saying it is.
oh wait, Uncharted 1 was my favorite game of 2007, and my favorite new IP this generation thus far, and the beta for Uncharted 2 was awesome (i just finished installing the current demo), so nevermind. it's completely possible UC2 is as awesome as they say it is.
but i'm still not ruling out some Naugh...

isn't a console's worth determined by the software on that console?
i'm confused. in the end, i'm playing games. as long as the console isn't interfering with me playing said games, i don't need to review the machine itself.
also, the PSP Go isn't aimed for pre-existing PSP owners. it's aimed for a new audience that SPECIFICALLY is interested in digital downloads ONLY.
i already own a PSP, so i don't care if the PSP Go isn't using UMDs.
will...
but i'd double dip like mad to have an HD version of the games.
i can't even imagine how amazing Colossus would look in HD. it already looks fantastic being upscaled on my PS3.
Ico looks terrible on my PS3, because even with upscaling it's too jaggy and pixelated. it was a year one PS2 game, so that doesn't surprise me. it was even on a CD ROM back then (see, games DO get bigger over the course of a generation; Ico was on a CD, and Shadow of the Colossus was on a DVD...
i haven't played it in a few weeks because i've been brushing up on my Uncharted (when my PS3 died, i lost all my game saves, Uncharted and my 100% complete game included. *sigh* and i never thought i'd have to beat Crushing more than twice. this will be my THIRD TIME!).
anyway, i'm addicted to Demon's Souls, and it truly is a challenging, impeccably designed RPG. i never thought i'd see From Software produce such a game, but they have.
it goes to show that proper su...
