the PSN does *EXACTLY what i need it to do.
i'm not a big online gamer, but when i *DO get the urge to play some people in Resistance, Warhawk, or Calling All Cars, i like the fact that i can do so, lag free, and *FOR free. why should i have to pay one iota for a feature i'll only use about 10% of the time i own the console?
i can also download game demos, games, trailers, and wallpapers.
that is all.
those two conditions are being ...
now *THAT'S comedy.
on topic, however, it's always sad when someone passes away, and even sadder when they take their own lives, for *WHATEVER reason.
my prayers are certainly out to her family and loved ones.
i have to tip my hat to Sony on this one. well played.
so they get GTA IV, which is multiplatform, but does that matter, as long as the title is hitting their console, and userbase? no, it doesn't.
then they get LA Noire, which is still exclusive to the PS3 for the time being, or at least for 2008 (i'm sure it'll hit the 360 in early 2009).
*THEN they get an all new IP, not related to the above?
that's really sweet.

the more you learn the battle system, the better it becomes.
it's kind of like Ninja Gaiden in that respect, in that to truly progress and not get whomped, you *HAVE to learn the intricacies of combat.
i've only played the demo about three or four times, and this last time i played, i totally *DESTROYED the bad guys with the various attacks and stances.
of course, that just meant that the demo was much shorter than it already is, but oh well, i'll ...
*HOW are Sony fans falling for a ploy?
i bought a PS3 precisely *BECAUSE it's the best Blu Ray player on the market, with constantly improving features because of the Cell processor inside.
i bought a PS3 precisely *BECAUSE it rolls the functionality of a gaming console, HD movie and DVD player, PS1, PS2, wireless networked, internet browser, Linux support all into one convenient package.
i wasn't hoodwinked, had, or bamboozled.

"Real women don’t strut around in skimpy clothes while their chests jiggle like strapped on Jell-O for everyone to observe. "
clearly this man has never been to Southern California.
me and my fiancee went to Venice Beach the other day, and holy moly, i had to walk with my head down the entire time. lol
seriously though, i think the guy just wanted to write about boobs, because his article is pointless, actually.
and the fac...
it's always impressive to see how far a game comes along in such a short period of time.
these screens certainly look better than the previous batch of screens, which were nothing to scoff at in the first place.
now imagine how this game is going to look in *MOTION.
i'm certainly going to, at the least, rent this from Game Fly, and maybe buy it if i really like it.
+ bubbles from me
i was just grateful for another shot at playing Heavenly Sword, no matter how short the demo was.
do i wish the demo was longer? *OF COURSE I DO! but that's the whole point of it, isn't it? to get us chomping at the bit for more.
people are just spoiled, is all. no appreciation of anything they get, especially here in America, where's it's always "gimmeegimmegimmegimmegim megimmegimee!"
i also really enjoy...
Mart, do you even *PLAY videogames? or do you obesely sit at your keyboard, Cheetos stains smearing your chin, tapping angrily away with stubby fingers about sales numbers and statistics, while your mother yells at you from downstairs that dinner is ready, and she's laid out your jammy jams on the ironing board, and packed your lunch for school in the fridge, and that you should probably get an actual job, because being 35, living at home with your parents, won't get you laid at all?

Eurogamer reviewed:
Folklore - 5/10
Ninja Gaiden Sigma - 7/10
Calling All Cars - 6/10
Resistance: Fall of Man - 6/10
all games that i, personally, think are great.
i don't think i'll take his opinion of Folklore into account here.
different strokes for different folks, and all that.
especially considering other sources, have given Folklore rather excellent reviews (like Famitsu, which gave it roughly 9...
i thought it was from the latest build of the game, but he said it was from an earlier build, like last year or something.
that's surprising, but in a good way.
it means we haven't seen *ANYTHING yet.
i can't wait for this game.
there's so much great stuff coming out in the next few weeks that i don't know how i'm going to afford it all.
i thought the PS3 couldn't do colorful graphics? /sarcasm
anyway, this game is looking great, and i'm pumped.
Dark Cloud 2 and Rogue Galaxy were great.
it's interesting, that they've changed the art style from the first time they showed White Knight, and i think it's because of the character creation system.
going with the simpler anime style would mean not as much diversity in characters outside of hairstyles.
going w...
i'd be more interested, if i hadn't heard *THIS at the end of the video:
"It's going to be available on PS3, X Box 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, and DS."
i'm sure they'll squeeze in an Atari 2600 and Dreamcast version as well.
if the development team was focusing on just one or two platforms (you know the two i'm thinking of, so i won't even name them), i think it'd result in a better game.
as it stands, i was unimpressed with this v...
Calling All Cars "didn't live up to the hype?"
*WHAT HYPE??
it was a $10 *DOWNLOADABLE game. it was simply form.
how the hell do you hype a $10 game? seriously?
were they comparing it to God of War? or Gears of War? or MGS4?
seriously. Calling All Cars is not a AAA title, nor a system seller. anyone who thought it *WOULD be, is, frankly, stupid.
what Calling All Cars *IS, is a simple, easy to p...
Blu Ray is technology, is it not?
so this is indeed tech.
Blu Ray is also built into *EVERY PLAYSTATION 3 console.
so it is connected to gaming also, as some of us bought a PS3 because it:
1.) Plays games (yes, there are plenty to enjoy for now, with more on the way)
2.) Plays High Definition Blu Ray discs (i'm a movie buff, so i love to watch films. once you see a movie in HD, it's hard to go back)
3.) ...
is that whenever there's a negative MGS article, they always have to harp on MGS2, completely ignoring the fact that Metal Gear Solid 3 *COMPLETELY and truly rocked, and redeemed any ill will on the franchise (i was disappointed in 2, and i didn't think i'd touch a Metal Gear game again, but then i played the demo of 3, and thought it was awesome, so i bought it, and it's possibly the best in the series thus far).
am i supposed to be torn up inside that the PS3 *WON'T be getting another mediocre game from Activision?
i think i'll just dry my tears with Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Assassin's Creed, Stranglehold, Folklore, and Little Big Planet this fall instead.
this game looks like garbage, and i'm a *DIEHARD Spider-Man fan (i even own the incredibly mediocre Spider-Man 3 on the PS3).
i was hoping Friend or Foe would be...wel...
i lost a bubble for *WHAT now?
that's interesting, because the Frys Electronics in my area have Blu Ray movies priced at $12.50, and at the store across the street from my house, they sell new Blu Ray movies for $24.99, and have a sale every weekend where if you buy two Blu Ray movies, you get a third one free.
you're right. Blu Ray is incredibly costly.
and i'm a *CHRISTIAN. but condemning someone to hell is the epitome of disrespect.
yes, i believe in Heaven, and maybe a little bit in hell (what *OTHER name can you think of for Los Angeles? Hiyoh!), but it's bad form to condemned the deceased to an eternity of suffering, because she couldn't stand the cesspool of hate and lies that this world's become.
i'm sure her spirit is a peace, wherever it may be (and i'm pretty sure not hell. afterall, God is all about f...
