though i'll probably go with the 3 movie pack.
i loved the trilogy, certainly better than the 3rd X-Men movie. it's solid popcorn entertainment.
maybe they'll add stuff to the film, as it was horribly edited. the movie was already 2 and a half hours long, with what was included. i have a feeling that they cut quite a bit out of the movie for running time, and it was, i'm sure, sadly character development stuff.
at it's core, Spider-Man is a summer ...
has nothing to do with being lazy. it has everything to do with process.
or would you all like to tap out "Morris Code,"
or drive around with a stagecoach?
you know what, how about we just drop the horses in general, and *WALK everywhere, like our ancestors used to do?
let's get rid of Cell Phones, computers, even game consoles, because progress, apparently, is a bad thing.
let's ignore the fact that the gami...
everything is all about you you you, isn't it?
back when SOE were talking about their future products, they were discussing Free Realms, saying that it was a game marketed *TO KIDS, and young girls.
i mean, does every single fricking game released have to be marketed to the male demographic?
seriously.
i love my MGS, and my RE, and Killzones and Mass Effects as much as the next guy, but this market is never truly going to be looked a...
i *LOVE Itagaki. this guy is such a douche. lol. he hates *EVERYTHING!
didn't he just say that Tekken sucked a few days ago, and Devil May Cry sucked before that?
he cracks me up everytime.
the DOA games, in my opinion, are @ss. the only good game i've seen come out of his Team Ninja, has been Ninja Gaiden, the game they love to remake over and over again.
people getting upset by his remarks, shouldn't. this is par for the course for...
Lair?
Heavenly Sword?
*BOTH of those games come out in September! not mid October.
if there is one game that truly is saved by the GTA IV delay, it's Folklore, which actually comes out in early *OCTOBER, you know, the same month GTA IV was supposed to come out.
even Assassin's Creed comes out in November.
each and every one of those games are in a completely different *GENRE than GTA IV. if anything Mercenaries 2 should be con...
i played the demo briefly, and it's actually really cool, i'm just not that big into the sort of tactical shooter (like R6: Vegas; very cool game, but i couldn't get into it like i wanted).
Resistance is definitely a shooter i enjoy (i'm more of a casual shooter fan, not a hardcore one). i won't be buying GRAW2, but maybe i'll rent it, or borrow my roommate's copy, as i'm sure he'll be picking it up.
fact is, i just don't care, *BECAUSE i'm the end user.
Sony's been in business for 60 *YEARS. they don't need me to worry about how their business is doing. they'll be fine.
the true point of my post is that they have enough titles to muffle any blows that stem from the GTA delay.
the truth of the matter, is that there are a *LOT of Playstation fans, that *DON'T OWN X Box 360's, that are dying to get their hands on games like the ones i mentioned a...
i'm staying out of this thread from now on.
too much foolishness to handle...
i mean, seriously, let's all believe the guy who doesn't even *WORK for Rockstar, Microsoft, and Sony, despite the fact that his usual "analysists" are wrong about 80% of the time.
this is absurd conclusion jumping.
Rockstar as stated, numerous times, that *BOTH versions of the console have their difficulties.
i genuinely believe t...
well, i seem to have lost my race-card in the mail, so i don't get to use it, unfortunately. lol.
there are too many other legitimate race issues that need to be sorted out, most of them *NOT purtaining to videogames.
and is it just me, or is it the older people (whites and blacks), that get more up in arms about race than the younger people?
i mean, my generation and younger (i'm 28), are living in a world where the races intermingle on a daily ...
i guess i'll have to dry my tears with Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Pain, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Blacksite: Area 51, Stranglehold, Assassin's Creed...
i'm sorry, what were we talking about again?
oh yeah, GTA IV delay...
...Folklore, GRAW 2, Eye of Judgment, Haze, Unreal Tournament 3, Kane and Lynch, Lego Star Wars Complete, Mercenaries, Half Life 2...
as a PS3 owner, there is too much coming out this fall. GTA IV was addin...
all i have to say about the Crysis/Killzone 2 comparisons, is that i don't have to buy a $2000 PC in order to play Killzone 2. the $500 asking price of the PS3 will do (well, $600 for me, since i bought mine before the price drop), and i get the benefit of having quite a few *OTHER visually draw-dropping games to play also (FFXIII, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, Lair, White Knight Story, MGS4).
$500/$600 is a small price to pay to be able to play such spectacular...
a delay, following all of Rockstar's comments about how it is difficult fitting the game on a standard DVD...i wonder...lol
my thoughts on the matter are simply that it's such an overly ambitious game, that they're having trouble with it. on *BOTH consoles. end of story.
it's absolutely ridiculous for Patcher, and anyone else, to say what the reason is behind the delay, and he doesn't work for the company. it's irresponsible and foolish.
the truth ...
i mentioned Total Overdose in the other thread about RE5.
i didn't actually realize other people found it offensive too! damn game. it's probably the worst of the bunch.
RE5, and the others listed, are people digging too deeply into this.
i'm a black male, and i just don't think RE5 is racist.
it's a new environment for the series, with new characters, a returning character from the first Resident Evil, and that's all i see.

i think Blu Ray disc sales would probably be in the same region of sales, even if more PS3 games were available. maybe *SLIGHTLY lower.
i know i'd rather be playing Uncharted, or Heavenly Sword right now, than watching a movie, but i certainly love the movies too.
i guess the real test will be this fall, when all these great PS3 games hit.
even with those games coming out, i'm still owning Harry Potter, and the Spider-Man movies on Blu Ray, to name...
i have a PS3, and i own 5 Blu Ray movies, and 300 is going to join that collection probably this weekend (buy 2 get 1 free at the vid store across my street weekend!).
i had no interest in a stand alone Blu Ray player, though i definitely wanted to watch movies in high def (i'm a movie buff as well as gamer). when i learned the PS3 included Blu Ray, the choice was obvious, and i've killed to birds with one stone: great gaming console, and great hd player rolled into one. so the...
my mom would have BEAT.MY.@SS.
and *STILL taken away World of Warcraft.
hell, i'm 28, and i'm sure my mom would still pop me one.
and yet oddly entertaining...
i could have sworn i read this interview right after E3.
old news, i guess.
bubbles for you too!
what i meant by "Hard Disc" were the discs that came *AFTER the floppy discs.
i can't remember exactly what they were called, but they were square shaped, i think about 3.4MB or something, and they were slightly smaller than a floppy disc. they usually go in the "A:" drive on a PC, and used to have programs like backup utilities on them, before CD and DVD became the standard for those sorts of thing.
Hard Disc certainly didn't refer for CD or ...
