no, but that doesn't mean *I don't *WANT it!
i think it would be good for the PS3, but a necessity? i'm not so sure.
i'd love to play it on my PS3, on my 40"HDTV, instead of my crappy PC monitor though (i haven't bought an HDMI cable for my computer yet; it keeps slipping my mind).
it certainly wouldn't hurt the PS3 to get this title, but by the time the PS3 version hits, there will be *OTHER anticipated games to give it some fierce competitio...
ignored.
*WHY should i, a PS3 owner, be crying?
i'm going to purchase Bioshock for my *PC, so, i won't be missing out on this great game.
not to mention the fact that 2K would be silly to not release this game on the PS3 *ALSO (MS doesn't own the rights to Bioshock, correct), to make even *MORE money.
while i wait for that PS3 version, i'm certainly going to be enjoying the PC version, and i'll probably play it on my roommate's 360 if he gets it before i bu...
the person who disagreed with me is saying that i *WILL have the money necessary to purchase all of these cool games?
*SWEET!!
has reached absurd levels.
the truth is, i *HATE playing online with most of you guys (it's a general "you guys," not specifically, "you guys in this thread"), and most of the time, my online experience is spoiled by some retard.
i've been playing single player games for over 20 years, and they rank as some of the most fun i've had in all my years of gaming.
i've played good Multiplayer games (Halo, Resistance, Warhawk, etc), bu...
i'll definitely have to give it a look, it sounds really intriguing.
this means that starting next Tuesday, there is a quality game release, practically *EVERY WEEK until nearly the end of the year:
August 21 - GRAW2 (good game, regardless of multi-platform status)
August 28 - Warhawk
September 4 - Lair
September 12 - Heavenly Sword
September 17 - Stranglehold
(okay, it's not every week, there's a two week break, end of September)
October 1 - Hot Shots Golf 5
October 9 - Folklore
October 23...
i hear it's really good, but the store across the street doesn't have it in Blu Ray (sold out), and my fiance doesn't work at the video store anymore, and i don't want to open up an account just to rent it. lol. if it's any good, i may just buy it the next time it's in the store.
i own a PS3, and i also own a 40" Samsung 720p set. the set can *ALSO display at 1080i (which is what i had it running in until last month). whenever i would watch a Blu Ray movie when the settings were 1080i, it ran the movie at 1080i. when i ran it at 720p, it ran it at 720p, so i think your TV will be fine. thanks to that update, the PS3 will scale to whatever your *MAX RESOLUTION is, on both Blu Ray discs, and PS1 and PS2 games.
i own 6 Blu Ray movies, and i'm certainl...
i still have the first one (which i also ripped to my PSP), but i never got to play the second one.
*THOSE are the types of games they need to bring to the PSN and PSP.
is that when it's a PS3 game looking sup-bar of a 360 games, the media can't wait to trip all over themselves to publish the story asap, and when a retraction is stated, do they post a *BRAND new story correcting it? *NO, they post a feeble little update, or they wait a few days, then post the update.
but when it's a 360 game looking subpar, they *HOLD OFF, and wait for a correction or update, *THEN post the *FULL story.
i mean, where are all the conclusion jumpe...
i've *GIVEN you the benefit of the doubt, but it's official: you are a retarded douche. your anti-Sony sentiment isn't even based in *LOGIC or *REASON"! seriously, enough is enough, dude.
welcome to my ignore list! your friends, The Mart, Bloodmask, and a few others are waiting for you!
isn't getting the recognition it deserves as an RPG powerhouse.
the Dark Cloud games were good (part one was a passable first attempt at a PS2 launch title, and part two was *SOOO much better).
their work on the graphics engine for DQ8 was great.
Rogue Galaxy on the PS2 is awesome.
Jeanne D' Arc on the PSP is getting *GREAT reviews.
and aren't they working on DQ on the DS?
these guys make really good RPG...
the blocking *WAS odd at first, but that was because i had just come from months of playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and before that, God of War 2 and Rogue Galaxy (all of them use a button to block).
i've played through the Heavenly Sword demo so much that *NOT pressing a block button has become second nature. i don't even notice it.
the problem now, is when i go back to playing God of War, Rogue Galaxy, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma i have to remind myself to press the blo...
i think *BOTH screenshots look @sstacular.
i think i'll just wait for the *FINAL product to be released before i make any real commentary.
tell that to Epic games, who may end up compressing, and *CUTTING some levels from Unreal Tournament on the X Box 360 because of the limitations of DVD9
tell that to Rockstar, who are having a difficult time fitting GTAIV onto a DVD9
tell that to the PGR team, who can't even fit something as seemingly simple as a day/night cycle onto a *RACING GAME because of the limitations of DVD9
tell that to Bioware, who have stated, numerous times, that they a...
Bladestar, is that there *IS a format war going on for *EARLY ADOPTING High Definition consumers.
among the high definition consumers out there in the world (of which i am one), the majority of them are clearly choosing Blu Ray over HD DVD. *WORLDWIDE.
most of this has entirely to do with the success of the Playstation 3.
Sony Trojan-Horsed Blu Ray onto the PS3, but i can't say i'm fussed about it. it just means that i didn't have to shell out, say...
thanks!
all i have to say is:
the original X Box sold 25 million units.
the X Box 360 has sold, roughly 10 million units.
translation: the 360 has only sold to a little less than *HALF of it's potential audience.
the Playstation 2 sold 115 million units and *COUNTING.
the Playstation 3 has sold 4.5-5 million units.
translation: the PS3 hasn't even sold to, like, 1/8th of it's potential audience.
out o...
he's commenting on this thread because he's *WAITING for Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 to actually *COME OUT (although, judging by his comment, he didn't get the memo that those games *HAVEN'T RELEASED YET).
