the Blu Ray disc release of Little Big Planet is supposed to be sometime next spring, and will be a sort of "best of" compilation of the best user-generated content, but the actual level editor/demo/game, will available *THIS YEAR, in just a few short months (i'm expecting a November 2007 PSN release date).
i actually stopped reading it after the first paragraph or too, as i saw they were getting *TOO MUCH into the story.

metacritic has Heavenly Sword averaged at 82/100, which isn't bad at all. it's an 8/10 game, though for me, it doesn't matter what these complete strangers score it, but what *I score it myself when i get my hands on it.
what i don't understand, is how the opinions of a *FEW, suddenly counts for the opinions of a few *MILLION gamers.

i downloaded the Beta onto my PS3, then logged into my account on my roommate's PS3 and downloaded it, but naturally, only one of us could play it at a time since it only worked for my account.
it doesn't surprise me at all that they would "disable" game sharing, as it's a $40 purchase.

it was all about GAMES GAMES GAMES last July.
*NOW, at GC, they decided to focus on the two platforms they practically *IGNORED at E3, the PSP and PS2, while also highlighting some non-standard gamer-fair technology for the PS3 (such as the TV tuner and what not).
also, it seems like we're coming from this from an American gamer's perspective.
we *ALL KNOW that the various countries have different taste...
whether or not i want to stay up and download it, or just buy it in the store tomorrow.

i've been using my PS3 controller on my PC since i bought it back in *FEBRUARY.
i *USED to use a PC controller i bought, which was basically just a poor-man's Dual Shock controller, so when i got my PS3, i would use it's controller to play emulator games and PC games when i wasn't playing the PS3, as it's just much more comfortable than my crappy PC controller.

Gaming consoles and movie players are a *COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THING.
the X Box 360, Playstation 3, and even the Nintendo Wii are offering *COMPLETELY DIFFERENT gameplay experiences from each other.
