If this were the 1500s you'd be one of the people doing the burning since you seem to be believing the assertion even though by your own admission "no one can say they are right"... This is the language used by anyone who wants to believe anything without sufficient evidence. In my opinion, this is quite silly in that it stops people searching for actual truths by believing in falsehoods or unproven hypotheses.
As for your theory you could be right. There are th...
@foxy
You should do some research and release a paper that proves your theory correct. If it is good enough it will be accepted and the current understanding will be that we have been visited.
Personally, I think it is currently quite silly to believe we have been visited, but conversely, it is almost a certainty that intelligent life is out there.
You must concede that is not widely accepted that we have been visited by extra terristrials, largely because sufficient evidence has not been provided. Our current understanding of physics also points to the fact that it would be incredibly difficult for intelligent life to reach us. Obviously our knowledge will almost certainly increase in the future but right now, to the best of our knowledge it is very very unlikely that it could be possible, never mind true.
You could us...
Why do we need two apps for the functionality provided? I dislike when providers do this, there has to be some duplication of code and resources taking up memory and power on your phone. No need to make us download different apps when they could be incorporated together.
Surely by definition AR is more useful in real life than VR?
In all seroiusness though, I can definitely see how good both could be... AR could totally transform a classroom, where VR could transport the students out of it. Both will be very cool with future iterations.
I just finished episode 2 last night, not sure why I bothered finishing it to the end... the illusion of choice wears very thin after a while.
Most dialogue options give the same response and major choices only branch off before returning to the mainline narrative. It's an interesting mechanic but the limitations of developing a game like this are too difficult to overcome in a meaningful way.
These reasons also don't seem good enough to me. The firs...
And you could do that. What would be the problem? People would have their reasons e.g. wanting a new experience rather than replaying an old one.
This is no different than asking if people would prefer a new Alan Wake over Quantum Break. It's a disussion that could be had.
Rather than, "Quantum Break is close to release therefore Quantum Break".
Why not talk about the merits of two series made by the same developer? Could be, yo...
It's not literally asking which should release in 2016, it's trying to start a discussion about which sequel people think is better.
Geezo, no need to be so literal folks. Turn your brain on and read the meaning behind the words. Failing that, just click the link. n4g should hide the comments until the link is pressed if people are gonna be so asinine.
No reason to think it won't be repetitive. Almost every open world game is, and that increases with the Ubisoft open world.
Sacrifice fun for the grind of clearing those icons off of the map.
Ha, amazing! :D
It's a pity most people won't make it this far down.
I'd definitely consider at £300, maybe more, since most new high end gadgets go for around that price. All depends if the experience is good enough in terms of quality and content though.
I'd say £300 is the sweet spot between losing money and getting early adopters.
I don't agree that just because it is possible to get everything without spending anything it is therefore fair. Possible and feasible are two different things.
If certain guns or power weapons can only be acquired by random luck when opening packs, and packs can be bought for real money - then it's pretty shady imo. That random element is very addictive and I don't like it being used when money is involved. Feels exploitative to me. If all guns can be obtained at...
I don't think it was Sutherland, just the bad writing and pacing. The dialogue was generally just one-way statements said in the general direction of other characters. Remember that jeep sequence, oh lord...
[----Spoilers----]
I would have prefered Hayter throughout but ideally, for the story, Keifer should have played Venom, some random played Big Boss during the intro and Hayter playing Big Boss for the reveal. That would have been great.
[----/Spoilers-...
Why are we talking about microtransactions if everything is free? I don't understand ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I assume you buy packs with in-game currency which in turn can be purchased with real currency? Or some variation of this theme? And judging by your comments these packs give you certain customization options? I thought it was similar to the Destiny model.
Regardless, I'm just pondering how far things have gotten in lots of full retail price games ...
This is kind of hilarous. Just step back and think about what we're discussing here and the sequence of events that must have transpired to cause alternative skins for guns to be sellable and profitable as microtransactions in a full retail game. Not even your choice of skin, but a random skin.
Mind blown.
Long for all the wrong reasons lol
Go back and time how long it takes for that chopper to arrive and take you to your destination. Go back and look at the lack of variety in missions. Go back and look at how empty the world was. Go back and look at chapter 2. Go back and critique the story pacing and dialogue.
Shallow experience. Unbelievable it was so highly praised. I think Kojima was given a pass by reviewers as it was his last MGS.
The more I thin...
Heh, I guess I just got sick of people defending the game and saying "oh no it's a solid 8" when what they mean is it's average lol
Your comment was the unlucky one I stopped at to comment on :P
I definitely disagree with your scoring system though as it means almost all mainstream games will never score less than 5 out of 10. Games do not get released broken nowadays. Even games like AC Unity could not be described as broken... buggy yes but not bro...
Just found out the original is available on Android and seems to work well with my relatively rubbish 1st gen Moto G. Kind of crazy that a game of KOTORs size can now be played on mobile devices - and the controls don't suck either. Perfect for a touchscreen.
What's the difference between a 4 out of 10 and a 1 out of 10 then? If 1-4 represent broken games what determines one of these values?
Uncharted 4 could release with a 1 hour campaign for full price, but with amazing set pieces, gameplay and storytelling - do you think it should be docked points if that is the case? Or "Because what's there is a very high quality game" it shouldn't?
Depending on your answer... how many points should be dropped? ...
I know you're not doing this, but I hate seeing the recent trend of justifying bad business practices or shady microtransactions and DLC by saying "budgets for games have skyrocketed"...
Firstly, a large chunk of that is due to advertising which does nothing for the consumer.
Secondly, I assume it is usually the choice of the publisher/developer at how much it will cost to develop. As an example, we shouldn't feel sorry for a company if they...
