How many AC games does there need to be!?
Could have been my favourite game series ever if it was a trilogy where ACIII was a Watchdog-esque game starring Desmond and the story was contained within those three games.
Too bad it got so popular and Ubisoft saw the $ sign.
For value for money this game has to be a 10/10! This game alone will probably lead me to buying an xbox one in a few years time. I've played and loved most of the Halo games splitscreen but never actually owned any of them.
It's pretty much made for me :)
It's pretty annoying Activision has blocked this. It's the equivalent of blocking you from going round to your friends house to try the game! I can understand why they would want to block it though...
1) As they say, shareplay could hamper performance. CoD gets a lot of stick for it's lag and Activision would want to avoid any negative experiences a user might have. Considering that I've had problems keeping connected via remote play through the router in the same room...
Ubisoft does make great games, but their action titles all look and play far too similarly. The running animation copy pasted from Watchdogs really puts me off this one, plus the fact that it hasn't changed much since AC2.
Far Cry 4 doesn't inspire me even though 3 was fantastic and probably will be a really fun game. I don't want a game so similar to 3.
That is no where near to proof that parity is being forced.
Some games will be released on equal terms to save money and time on development. The closer the two versions are to one another, the less work required.
You can't proclaim forced parity without evidence.
Sorry, just my pedantic brain going into overdrive...
So it's not the symmetry then? I don't dispute that some people will find the position of the left stick on the DS3 and 4 uncomfortable and I guess the right stick on most controllers, especially if you've injured you're hand... but it's not the symmetry which is causing it. It's just the position of the stick(s).
It's impossible that it would be the symmetry that is the cause of the cramps.
Lol @ "exposed".. Anita actually came across pretty well.
Most notable parts of the interview for me:
- Colbert taking the piss out of video game journalism - since it is not proper journalism: it is entertainment media. I don't understand why #GamerGate exists when game journalism has never been of a high ethical/moral standard. As soon as reviews are involved within a journalistic medium it is necessarily biased at that point. I don't really care a...
@logicwins
I agree with you on UC3. Story wasn't that great and some sections made replaying through a chore. The addition of Cutter as a secondary character was also a mistake imo - he wasn't an endearing character at all.
But I don't have this concern with the Order. I think it is going to be a lot like UC1 in terms of combat gameplay, story and graphics. That might not be enough for most people but I enjoyed UC1 loads.
Looking forward t...
I was surprised at that comment aswell, and the agrees point to that also.
And yet.. vicecityismuchbetter :O
Resistance and a little Mass Effect thrown in for good measure.
It's great... like the dungeons in the Legend of Zelda with great power-ups, art design and humour.
Hopefully this has a stable framerate since that was my only problem playing on the laptop.
Actually make an argument to why this game is acceptable rather than crying PC...
The only argument that I can think of is that there is yet to be proven that video games cause real world violence and therefore this will game will cause no real harm in the real world...
I still have a problem with this game though and won't be playing it. I don't mind the odd stress or anger release in violent games as a small diversion from a main story and I don't have...
I think that's the main difference which makes games like Manhunt , or the No Russian mission, okay to play. You are ultimately the good guy who is forced to kill to survive. The character doesn't want to be doing it because there is a context of their actions being wrong.
I think that is why this game will fail because people generally want to play a good guy that has to make tough choices or a bad guy with redeeming qualities... this just looks like gratuitous viole...
Graphics on PT are pretty great... I also really liked that the camera actually felt like it was positioned at head height rather than the all too often chest height. Added to realism and immersion imo.
Yes! What a game! Had to look up that one level that was infuriatingly hard... Sleeping Titan.
I was thinking the exact same.
I'm a bit torn with this game because even though I played and loved FarCry 3, I bought a new console for new experiences and this is looks too similar to 3.
Lol, this writer is trying far too hard to make Destiny appear amazing... but only by telling us it's great rather than demonstrating it.
1. Stop going outside
2. Devote entire life to grinding
3. ????
4. PROFIT!!
