"At least one of these giants are lying, now which one is it?"
Could it be the one that forced retailers with leverage from their other OS products to stock an extra 1.5 million or so 360s so they could make the silly '10.5 million sold!" claim?
And that same one that still tries to pretend their ship numbers are really sell through numbers unlike the other two console makers?
It doesn't matter if Sony disputes the silly Microsoft numbers....
You can almost hear people yelling "Quick! Move the goal posts!" after:
* People found out that Sony never claimed the first E3 trailer was realtime and that it was just a gaming site playing stupid games editing a Jack Tretton talking about Resistance running real time at E3
* People stood in awe when the real time Killzone 2 demo matched the 'impossible Sony lies' CGI trailer and had to frantically move the goal posts to the 'yeah it looks 'pretty' but wh...
Yep, every time the sales numbers come out for mainland Europe the PS3 is absolutely destroying the 360 in sales. It is pretty much just the UK the 360 has been keeping up with the PS3. Just like the PS2 and Xbox last gen.
And this is with the 360 being cheaper than a Wii throughout Europe.
If you look at the gaming news the Wii has become almost a non-entity outside of sales reports. The Wii is completely absent from any Hottest News item on this site.
Just look here at the Hottest Games This Month page:
With the continued support for LBP with addons like the incredible MGS4 levels it should continue to sell very well for a much longer time than other games.
I can't wait to see what other IPs/franchises they have lined up for LBP.
Over 140 million PS2s worldwide and the system still hasn't had a price cut to 99 dollars. Major games like Persona 4 are still being made for the system over eight years into its life.
Another couple years of life in the PS2 at 99 dollars and it will be in the 150 million range.

and possibly Team ICO's new game, Atlus games, and most likely a large number of PSN titles. And we haven't even gotten to E3 and what new stuff Sony has yet to announce.
I was completely blown away by how good the MGS4 levels are. If Media Molecule can keep the same quality with future releases I am going to be spending huge amounts of money on add on packs for Little Big Planet for other Sony franchises.
The problem with ordering from Amazon is the game comes out on the 27th which is a Friday but they won't guarantee that you will get the game before the following Tuesday.
You could end up sitting around for 5 days including the first weekend just to save a small bit of money.
If Gears of War 3 magically appeared tomorrow with the same outdated Unreal Engine graphics, broken/crappy online play, and short and dumb single player these same sites would be handing out 10/10s like mad.
