MARIOFTW, go away. No one gives a crap about your inane little attempts at lecturing PS3 owners.
Just checked your post history. Brand new account just created. 3 posts trolling the PS3...
The only thing you have when you want people to listen to your opinion on a game is your credibility. You play fanboy games because a game isn't on your personal console of choice, you get your pathetic ass flamed and your credibility drops to ZERO.
I've never seen the reaction to the amazing Killzone 2 demo. There have been times where I've heard about people liking a demo enough to play it once or twice. Even a few times if it is really good.
This is the first demo that was so good and had so much replay value that people are up in the 50-60 playthroughs already. And they all say the same thing. The AI is amazing and reacts differently every time.
Obviously, graphically, animation, etc. KZ2 annihilates every other console shooter. People were claiming that KZ2's graphics and animation wouldn't be possible until the PS4 at the earliest.
The things other developers need to learn from GG and KZ2:
* The amazing and innovative cover system
* The brilliant and innovative clan valor points betting on matches
* The incredibly immersive controls - no more weightless gun on a stick type control...
" i could download about 5 demos from live in the time it takes to download a single demo from PSN.
And thats no joke. "
No, it's not. It's a pathetic lie.
Every single download I've ever had from PSN has maxed out my DSL bandwidth with the single exception of Gran Turismo HD way, way back to right around the PS3's launch.
The insane Xbox and Xbox 360 8+ billion dollar losses would be massively higher if they weren't forcing Xbox owners to pay 50 dollar a year for online gaming.
As of the previous quarterly report conference call Microsoft confirmed in the still were losing money on the 360 hardware and couldn't say when they would be. Only that they were 'making progress'.
So that is three years into the console's life and they are still losing money ...
"Even with the glitches, I still don't really get the hate thrown at this game."
If your console's entire existence is pretty much based off of one game, Halo, you need to defend it like your life depended on it.
So what do you do?
If you're an Xbox fan in the media there are two games you desperately want to review or report on. Halo and Killzone. Hype Halo, trash Killzone. 10/10 for Halo, 6/10 for Killzone.
That is a direct insult to the huge number of Sony people who have been working on Home since the early PS2 days. Home is an enormous project that Sony has been talking about, without the Home name, for years. To even SUGGEST that it is somehow in ANY WAY due to Microsoft is sickening.
That is why Sony has sold some 105 + 140 + 22 million consoles worldwide. They don't try to nickel and dime their way to profits. They make their profits from making game developers able to make huge profits from the Playstation platform.
Instead of forcing users a toll charge just to get in to Home and having silly restrictions on what it can be used for to maximize their own profits, Sony has created a platform that is open to al...
"I think the competition from MS and the 360 have definitely made Sony step up their game. I don't think Home would have came out as quickly or have as many frequent features update. The firmware updates would likely be less frequent as well. "
I downloaded and tried The Show demo this past week when it came out just because I kept hearing about how it was the best baseball game out there.
I'm not a big baseball fan and only know the basics of the game but man was I blown away by how good The Show is. Looks absolutely stunning on my 1080p set. The production values are incredible. And the actually gameplay is what blew me most away. It's been a long time since I played a baseball game. Hard to believe they have advanced...
Haven't touched Firefox since the moment Chrome was released.
It absolutely destroys every other browser for performance. No matter how many tabs you have open or how many things are running in each tab, Chrome feels exactly as lighting fast as the moment you first started it up.
The Chrome engine that has tabs isolated into memory protected spaces and full threading for Javascript means that every time you close a tab you have no memory leaks like Firefox. And Chrom...
