Except Killzone 2 looks better than the original trailer. People have gone through the original trailer frame by frame and compared it the beta's real time footage and shown how much better the actual graphics are over the original cgi trailer. Better detail/higher poly counts, better materials on things, and so on.
First it was the original trailer was an obvious lie since no console could ever have graphics like that. Even the PS3 with its huge graphical power advantage over the 360.
And then the real time graphics hit like an atomic bomb that matched the original...
Yeah, Level 5 has been putting nothing but incredible stuff. Dragon Quest VIII and Jeanne d'Arc were fantastic and they now have done it again with White Knight Chronicles being a huge hit.
Can't wait for it to hit the US.
Atlus and Level 5 look like they are going to be the top rpg devs this gen now that Square has self destructed and has been out nothing but garbage.
EA really threw down the gauntlet to other publishers and developers with their gigantic sport space. I'm not a sports game fan or player and I can't wait to check out their space. Multiple games, earning upgrades for the games over time, poker table level progression, some sort of in space currency to use to buy upgrades, all in addition to their game videos and other marketing material.

Yep, just like when Warhawk came out and suddenly 1Up out of the blue started talking about taking price of the game into account and docking the game a point because they thought it was too expensive. Something them had never done before for any other game.
