Not to be supporting EA or anything, EA does more than just offer your yearly FIFA games and yearly Battlefields. They also have other games unlike Activision and Capcom such as:

how about dismissing the crappy title from the site all together and saying, "5 reasons why Tomb Raider doesn't need to be better than Uncharted and vice versa."

The game has launched 1.5 years after Uncharted naturally the tech etc will be further along.

Tomb Raider has always had a larger focus on puzzles compared to Uncharted.

I am hoping for a new Uncharted and it would be awesome if the Naughty Doggies made a crossover game with the Tomb Raider Team, even if it were just a cameo. The world would be set a light and gamers all over would die of Megaton overload.

Value points on what? The title categorically states the author is sceptical about the ps4. How can he be so sure of ts if he doesn't even know what the PS4 will and wont do? No one knows what the console will or wont do and nor does anyone know what the next xbox will do. I just started playing GoW3 again recently and there are a few better textures but nothing drastic in terms of a jump from GoW2 to GoW3. However, the 30min demo I played blew my socks off. I didnt know how they were going to top the GoW3 beginning and yet they did it.

Gameplay is more fun as you have more moves d can string together more combos, the entire sliding section was mega fun and something new to the series and the ongoig boss battle was awesome.

It won't be cheaper because if MS sell it as a cable box, you will be paying rent on it on a monthly basis. XBL will be one of the subscriptions you will have to pay not to forget a possible one off join up fee to go with the box.

Another important thing you forget is, not all cable boxes are free. Here in the UK, SKY and Virgin both charge extra if you want their latest box. SO you end up having to pay for:

People will complain whether it innovates or not. They will only see what they wish to see.

I remember when Brink was being hyped by the media before they reviewed it and the big selling point was this new mp mode which had dynamic objectives. Something so new it had never been done before except that Killzone 2 delivered it in spades and pulled it off way better. It innovated yet when it did, it went unnoticed.

I get what his saying. I get his rant. However, someone once said, if you have nothing positive to add, shut up. This makes me wonder, don't any of the people want next gen consoles unless they reinvent and innovate to their reparations and demands? Have we become like the sensationalist world media that just wants to see the world burn, who can't help but bitch, rant and complain about anything and everything without any positive input in any way shape or form.

Dunno about the scores. Every review I read has said the same thing about story and character. Although they have said it for other games and marked it as a negative, for this game the 2 dimensional supporting characters and lack of character building for Lara have been turned into a positive thing.

The rest of the game looks great apart from what reviewers have said about the mp not being all so great.

I think the article is correct but maybe it is hiding a lot more then what it is showing.

They might launch it on the PS4 with higher end graphics and have a lower resolution version of it that will run on PS3 via Gaikai.

This would not only allow more game sales, but it might also tempt people to upgrade to the PS4.

I'm an old skool gamer too, but complaining about things such as Facebook integration when we know it is an option is pointless. It's not as if you have to press the share button or have to let people join you etc.

What are people going to argue about next? I won't buy a PC, tablet or phone as they have social network integration and Facebook apps?!

I don't think it's that simple when you factor in R&D costs, hiring a team to do the running around, the cost of time, trial and error period etc.

Gaikai is a proven and tested service. If anything, they probably saved money as they didn't need to buy the reputation either, it was already there.

Got a simpler and better solution for IPhone users for the pop up ads - download Chrome. It has ad blocker installed on it and also happens to be an awesome browser.
