That is all great in theory, but lets look at it more realistically:
1) How many faces are there in an average game? If faces lone take up 400mb (probably at the optimum use of the card) and there are 10 faces, that would be around 4GB. Games like GTA, AC, SD have far more faces to deal with and the numbers probably go into 2 dozen maybe more. SO you may end up talking about around 6-7gb if not more just for faces.

I think there are other factors to take into consideration:
1) The PS3 launched 1-1.5years after the 360. The 2nd largest market - EU didnt get the PS3 until 1.5 years of the initial 360 release.

Sony is the present day Sega. Never relied on a group of successful of IP's and always created more IP's - continuing investment in games for gamers.
I hope they can get the money together and release is as a current or next gen title. They could make it like an underwater SotC with large sunken ships, the giant squid, the white whale etc. it would be amazing!

The demo came with GoW:A. I think most people who bought GoW:A probably haven't played it yet or completely forgotten about it.
Also wasn't too fond of the vehicle sections. They didn't play as well as the tank and mech sections and I found it difficult to see playing the snow cutter section.
I'm hoping they bring back the better exploding barrels and canisters from KZ2, dynamic set pieces, destructible bits of environment, mech sections, stealth sections, better integrated stat tracking like with the KZ2 site, a climatic ending like in KZ2, a memorable villain or 2 and more MP madness :)...

I used to respect Sessler until his GoWA rage. It was okay to kill innocent peeps in MW2, it was okay to kill a baby in DMC and have forced cursing through and through, it was okay to have prostitutes in a video game as well as strippers, it's okay to have to portray women in games in so many different ways and do things which are morally wrong, but a simple little trophy based on humour like many of the trophies in said game (snakes on a train) caused outrage.

I was thinking the same, but this very much feels like the Hobbit next to the LotR trilogy. As a casual fan, you may say it ain't worth it, but as a hardcore GoW fan, there is more to it that even adds to the stories of 1,2 and 3. The people who followed the story and paid attention will have a lot of "ahaaa" and "holy shit" moments and appreciate these extra little story elements that would usually go a miss.
This game is being trolled hard by reviewers. Been playing this game all last night and not only does it improve on everything from GoW3 and then some, but it is easily the best hack and slash ge I've played this gen.
The scale, the gameplay, the story, everything has been finely tuned up to kick the 50 shades of grey out of series fans senses and anyone who plays it.

Tomb Raider messed up due to SE stupid forecasting of sales and a ton of money probably being thrown into marketing and development to reboot the franchise. This never stopped Tomb Raider from being a bad game unlike another costly reboot that hasn't even sold a quarter of what TR sold.
As much as I enjoyed the newTR, I want it to play less like Uncharted and more like TR. I already have Uncharted, I don't need another, but I would love Mr some real tomb raiding.
