The reason the Xbox version is not polished with the controller is down to the simple fast porting of a PC game to Xbox. It is very quick and easy and takes about a day to have a full running Xbox version of a PC game which is brilliant for developers. But the controller aspect is generic and as such is needing some polishing which takes longer. Without proper fan feedback they are waiting before they add updates that allow the game to work better with controller.

Any VR for Xbox One X will be more gimmick and tech demo than full blown gaming experiences that blow the mind. The tech is still not there yet even on most much higher spec PC's. At best, you will get a game that plays fairly well at VR level but even then it won't blow anyone away that they are in Utopia with it, as it will still offer better graphics and gaming options 2D than VR.

On the one hand the level of detail in characters and things is much better on the X compared to the S. I think that when you see Lara being pulled up by the guy you can clearly see it is more photorealistic and a better feel for that extra detail, so that is a definite improvement to me.

The added way too much light to it, its bleached it out and makes the tree's and other details stand out more as 3D computer models rather than feel photorealistic. To keep profit margins high and costs low the 4K TV's are likely to be mid-range or even budget range, which will lower the chance of getting a decent one, and certainly kills all arguments over whether 4K Native X1X over PS4 Pro upscaled is better or not noticeable, because the TV itself will likely have poor performance that could hamper any differences anyway.

I am more surprised Microsoft have not increased prices too.... Why do people always presume that hardware will get cheaper? They do know that most costs involved are R&D costs and material costs and that at the moment they are rapidly rising. Nerf the Pharah/Mercy flying a little. It is not unbeatable but it is overpowered compared to other combinations of characters.
For starters, for many hero's it is extremely difficult to kill Pharah when in mid-flight anyway (Reaper, Symmetra, D.Va, Reinhardt or Junkrat for example), but to combine her with Mercy flying overhead and anything short of a Bastian won't hit them accurate or hard enough to kill them.
