Yep... like walking on a treadmill for 60 seconds!

Oh and the amazingly thrilling "Standing behind a line waiting" for another 62 seconds!

Not exactly sure I would call that LOTS of gameplay... I can get that sort of excitement in a supermarket!

I must be missing something. I didn't start watching the video for a few seconds and then when I started I thought "Oh yeah, the one on the left is slightly sharper" and then noticed all the comments below not making sense to the title? So off I go back to the video and catch the start and it claims PS4 is on the sharper left side!

Made for an interesting judgement for me that because I missed which side was which, I judged based on actual opinion of what I sa...

If I don't like standing in a shop queue to buy a must-have game, why would I buy a game where the character I control has to stand behind a line in a queue for 62 seconds!

Sorry but my pants are bone dry with non-excitement over the thrill of running on a treadmill for 64 further mind-numbingly boring seconds of the game!

Some people may find it fun but overall I think the mainstream gamers will find it tedious, pointless and very much just a tech demo ...

Why can't they discuss gameplay instead of talking about "incredible lighting" in the title for a weird little 3D game, like gamers are only interested in how hard the PS4 pushes lighting physics or something.
Not only does it promote more pointless fanboy arguments to be made against Xbox gamers, but it also paints PS4 owners out as vain graphic whores who would be happy to buy a turd as long as it glitters!

"Uses 3 types of anti-aliasing at 1080p...

Spoken like a true PS4 owner who doesn't, nor ever tried one outside of a shop display!

Microsoft have built a quality bit of kit that gets better and better. There problem is not funding or shortcuts, but on trying to build an all-in-one entertainment machine rather than games console and focus too much on the second operating system and the additional content they could push with it, rather than concentrate fully on the gaming side like Sony did with the PS4.

A lot of people mentioning (or should I say criticising the absence of) the Cloud.

Actually the Microsoft Cloud is so powerful it can host an entire city!

You got one small detail wrong.... when the massive loss was not as big as originally feared, you forgot to mention that what was ORIGINALLY feared was actually a lot, lot LOWER than they originally said and suddenly with barely a few weeks before revealing results they raised their losses projections massively so that when the huge loss came out, it then looked to be "lower" than they feared!

In other words, its the same as saying "I think we are aiming to cu...

For what little its worth, I agree with you and have said it for 2 years now that no matter how awesome a console or how much money it makes, the rest of the company is losing far, far more than that and will sink it eventually if they don't come up with a stable plan of action.

The positive news is Playstation will survive, its just might be called Amazon Playstation, or Facebook Playstation or something else when Sony are literally forced by the banks to sell of the en...

I did say that Shareplay would only work if developers were on board and already one big name developer is clearly hesitant about it. It only takes a couple more developers to follow them and suddenly Shareplay becomes Betamax, brilliant technology that is shunned by the main players in the industry.

I did however, expect them to wait until post-xmas sales to see the extent of the positive/negatives that Shareplay has on sales, but maybe a large studio like Activision though...

I can't say I blame them for delaying it. I have played it on X1 and its a good game but the delays in matching up players is ridiculously slow.

It literally takes between 6-12 minutes per game to matchmake all the players and finally start the game, and then 30% of the time it drops you out of the session within a couple of minutes to only restart the process all over again.

I have no issues with bugs and glitches and the lack of polish on some section...

Sony are really dire straits with those results yet again. The PS4 and gaming division is the only thing keeping the company on life support.
A lot of people are saying a lot about how the losses are not as bad as they feared, but in actual fact, they revised their estimated losses by almost doubling what they feared, then when the results came out its not quite that bad and so the investors are hopefully feeling it isn't that bad.

The investors are NOT happy at...

The game is great as it is with the variety.... but there are a few issues with it.
Firstly.... I dunno about anyone else but getting a stable game is a nightmare. I know its an Alpha so I can forgive any bugs and problems with the game itself, but the basics of having a stable connection with the game without it stumbling to start or dropping out is paramount. Its like saying "Here is a brand new car, there may be rough edges and a few tweaks needed but give it a try!" and...

Whether you think they are good or bad, I bet anything that Decembers lineup will be a much better, possibly AAA lineup, because its the last chance to do the Xmas selling of hardware. It might also be the reason that its been very low-key the last 2 or 3 months, because Sony would be putting their budget into a killer Xmas.

I said it once and will say it again.... Nobody knows the effect that Shareplay has on publishers/developers and their support of the feature (not even the publishers do) until January/February when they take a look at the Xmas sales figures and determine whether they have high or low sales.
If sales remain high and smiles on the publishers faces can be seen for miles, Shareplay will be universally supported for a long time to come and expect Microsoft to try and follow suit.

It is an excellent feature and all credit to Sony,..... BUT..... and not to reign on their parade, how do the developers and publishers feel about it?
IF they are all happy about it and and fully support it then this is a killer feature.

However, if a few gamers pick up games and mass-share these games for periods of time like is theoretically possible (for example, let dozens of friends play a couple of hours of a average rated game) then the publishers and develop...

Its ok to poke fun at other game developers but it might also be beneficial to bring out a game or two that scores higher than a 6 out of 10 on the review sites! They can't keep relying on the high scores of TLOU forever, particularly as the game is actually just an upgraded PS3 game!

Well considering I own an X1 and very happy with it I think the only thing that will improve the experience for me, and will definitely help boost sales figures, is simple.....

Bring out some really good, varied games!

At the moment it all feels like a waiting game with only maybe 3 or 4 games worth playing in the last 12 months! This Xmas is going to be pretty lame with only COD coming out (which in itself has lost me a lot of interest through samey gamepla...

And that is why I feel Microsoft made a huge mistake to remove it from the console. Because customers are not going to buy the Kinect at that price and so userbase will not increase and so developers won't see the potential benefits of developing for it and it ends up a kind of "optional widget" like on 360, rather than a technology game changer that it should have been if they had enforced consumer take up by forcing people to buy the console WITH Kinect.
What Microsof...

It may not be Sony's PSN to blame, but if the same happened to Microsoft then you can guarantee they would have had a team of 10 network professionals around to the studios offices working with them on the code to make it as stable as possible as a priority, because it reflects badly when their "gold subscribers" who purchased the game on THEIR console, then have a lot of network problems with a top game they have gone out and bought and find it hard to differentiate who is at f...
