I could probably do 12-16 hours straight but my dogs cannot go that long without going outside. One of the good things about having dogs and no yard is you have to actually go out with them and get some exercise. Keeps my gaming in line.

This site is so over the top hyped about this game that it makes me think the opposite of what they are saying.
That being said I am playing #1 right now, and although its not the greatest game this console generation it is fun (so far) so I am leaning to getting #2.

I misread the title an thought it was a Police Woman that did it, which actually would make the story noteworthy. But like the person above said shoplifters use their kids often so just a normal loser who is a mother doing it is nothing special.
I don't think it has ruined anything. I will actually play more to get an achievement if I think its possible and its fun. Achievements have actually gotten me to go back and replay a game in a way I wouldn't have thought of previously.

Ofcourse its getting worse, thats what happens when you put a Rating system in place. Now they can just rate it mature and do whatever they want. Same thing happened in movies and TV. People these days seem to think its wrong for people or companies to want to make money. Of course if they don't then they will not have the big budgets to make the game in the first place. No hiring of staff, no buying updated equipment....
MGS4 I haven't played but I wouldn't expect a great story based on trailers I have seen for MG games (seems like they would end like most Japanese RPGs...off the rails). But like I said I haven't played them.
Borderlands 2? Is that game out. Borderlands 1 ending was a disappointment but it wasn't horribly out of line with the rest of the game.

Enslaved was just too short for $60 otherwise it was fine/pretty fun.
Mass Effect will be remembered for the epic fail of its ending, not necessarily the fans reaction to the really bad ending or the "improved" endings which maintain many of the primary flaws of the original.
