Or you could choose not to kill off the human race and then the next games could be trying to find the a better solution to stop the spread of dark energy.
I was going to jump on him for NHL but it actually didn't make his "die" list.
"Tiger Woods PGA Tour – Here is the golf fans game and another one that went through a name change when Tiger Woods became THE name in golf. How exciting can golf be where you need a new game every year? Truthfully they need to let it rest for a bit and then come back so that perhaps they will gain new fans"
So the despite the title the theme seemed to be not so much "die" as rest or be updated in some massive way.
I singled the Tiger Wo...
If they it is all about the money then they would be making fun games. Now its partly about the "art" and how certain guys don't want to make "fun games". They did get to big...their egos that is.
Why the hell would EA care who bought them as long as they got their money? Microsoft, Sony, EA janitor, Activision, George Bush, Obama, Chad Johnson...whoever, they got the money then they get the company.
Borderlands 2
NHL 13 (havent bought one since 09)
If you want a more detailed understanding of some rules or "plays" in sports then you can actually learn a lot from video games. Of course they wont make you play the game better in real life, just understand the game a little better.
I doubt it helps at all with driving or other types of games. However, if you created games specifially to teach something I bet it would work better than reading a text book.
The average now is around 8 hours. I believe the average was slightly higher back when that came out (10-12 hours).
Still, these days, for games that are only 8-10 hours they are expected to have a campaign that is pretty dang fantastic or have the multiplayer component. An average game of 8-10 hours with no playable MP and no replay value is still a "get cheap" game.
I like them. Used to be I would play a game and love it but would move on because I had completed it and there was "nothing left to do". But then achievements opened my eyes that there was still more to do in some of these games.
If I love a game I will now look at the achievements to see what else I could be doing with it even replaying it on the hardest settings for that achievement if it sounds like fun (keeps me motivated to do this because I have an achievable...
Been looking to by Metro 2033.
I liked the other JRPGs on the list but never got around to getting Blue Dragon. I believe it came out when there were other games I was playing.
If I recall I never got Prey because everyone said it was so short.... then I forgot about it.
Never even heard of Deadly Premonition.
A limited edition console that will be out of date by end of next year...unless of course your not planning on buying a next gen system
When I hear the name Casey Hudson my dollars shrink back into my wallet until I find a game he is not involved in.
I also agree with this. In order for him to be an "Assassin" there really should be a way for me to make the kill and get out without the following chase scene which is rare in AC. The chase scene is almost mandatory in most missions.
Yeah I thought the same thing. Sure seems like I did the fluid fighting thing in AC first. (and yea the Eagle vision too).
Yeah I have been over zombies for a while.
How come no one ever complains about enemy AI when its just zombies running straight at you? Its just a cheap way of doing things.
Insulting Vigil is one thing, but he insulted the WII U? The Nintendites are going to rake him over the coals....
Thank you.
While I don't buy Avatar items (as I have real life things I would like to spend money on). I would like to be able to equip my avatar with a nice baseball hat that isn't pink or has flowers all over it. How about some nice plane neutral colors if the colors of our sports teams are too much to ask.
Meh, whatever, again its not like I would pay for it anyway so I just get the items the tasteless MS people initially put out with an occasional cool reward from some game...
"Do Games Need to be Fun?"
Only if you care about people buying your "game".
And just because a game may be challenging doesnt mean its not fun. Some people have fun with challenge. Some people have fun solving complex math equations. Some people have fun burning down houses.......ok bad example...... But still people play games to have fun. What one defines as fun is a matter of opinion. However, if you want to sell the maximum number of games y...
I never did play Doom 3. And now that they are including flashlights without a mod I am thinking of picking this up ;).
