Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.
MMA at its best is a might bit more complicated then boxing or the other general fighting games out there. Standup, takedowns (shoots and slams), ground and pound, submissions.... How do you go for an armbar? How do you sense an armbar is coming and defend it? Is your fighter a jack of all trades or a stand up guy or a wrestler or a JuiJitsu or a Sambo guy?

I loved Fable one and am looking forward to it more then FF. I am sure FF is a fine game and I will get it but there are currently lots of JRPGs out there and not to many Fable type games. What I see here looks good and I cant wait to see more.

Crp I was hoping this would be at least decent. I wasnt hoping for good or great, just decent. Why cant they make good games for these movies? Just put a little effort into it guys and you would probably sell a ton. (<<<movie games in general, I suppose there are not a ton of hardcore hellboy fans).
Why would anyone assume the sequel would come out this year? I would think it would be sometime next year at the earliest.
I am hoping for good things for this game, but I cant say as I really believe it will be good. Though I am still wondering the same thing of the Griffen\Rampage fight. When I heard they were the coaches for this years TUF I thought there was no way Griffen could stand in the ring with Rampage. For some reason I though they were in different weight classes. I have doubts that they can pull this off. Boxing is one thing but MMA is far more complicated and to really catch a sense of the sport the controls would probably have to be pretty complex.
It would be nice if the fighters did have thier own style. If you trained primarily in standup maybe you dont have as many options on the ground, but every once in a while if the conditions are right a submission like an armbar would present itself.

Looks and sounds like a lot of fun like the first Fable. Video really doesnt show you that much but I have always liked the Fable musical score and it sounds like it will be intact for this game, so thats good.
I hope this is good. I think its about time I get a golf game for the next gen console. I think I am skipping football again this year so I am hoping for Golf and Hockey at least.
