It has media hype on its side.
Sells tons of consoles, not so many games as it sits collecting dust on most shelves until theres a party and then it is brought out. Kind of like a cornhole set (yes, for those who may not know its a real game like horeshoes except your throwing bean bags). I bet cornhole sets sell more then Wii, PS3 and 360 combined.
And I dont want a motion sensing controller, really can't stand the idea so I guess thats "everyone -1"...
5 hours? Ok thats got to be the shortest game yet for $60.
My god if your making a movie based game you got to know people are going to look down on it to begin with until it proves itself, and you probably wont so you should make up for that with at least volumne. Give the customers SOMETHING to hang their "so I think I got my $60 worth out of it" hat on. 5 hours for a mediocure game is not it. Hell 5 hours for a mediocure game probably isnt worth $20 unless your a hug...
Good start but by no means complete at this point. I have great hope for the site though and have bookmarked it.
While I find this game very fun to play, it is by no means perfect. I think this review did a good job pointing that out. Great game, not perfect. Fun but has issues.

I always find that statement funny when so many of the tracks are on the coast.

Then they will be moving into bankrupcy as the majority of gamers are SP only. Meh whatever, you dont make it I dont have to worrry about buying it and something else will take its place.
Deckard from Blade Runner and Eeyore were both cool and I like Marcus, I think a person has a right to be grumpy when their world has been ravaged, their parents killed and they are thrown in jail. If you cant get mad then, when can you get mad?
Yeah it looks like FNR3, which isnt a compliment since that was a near launch title.
Yeah, nothing special about that trailer. I did like the other Far Cry's though so I have hope for this game. Still will wait to hear some opinions of it though.
I personally could care less if a game is cross platform as long as the games I want to play are on the system I have. Bioshock is an awesome game I am sure the PS3 fans will love it. I just fear for all gamers that the sequel wont be nearly as good as the original and I suspect the movie (who people of any platform or even non gamers can see) will just flat be bad, like every other video game movie has been.
Reviewers seem to love grid. I may have to download the demo and maybe pick up the game. I still have to pick up Dirt though, and that should be cheaper now so maybe Grid will have to wait.
I dont hold out much hope for the sequel being very good. First I dont know how they would do it. I dont see a prequel being any better then a sequel. Maybe they could do something in the same "universe" but what good is that as a sequel if you are no where near Rapture? I dont know. My dread isnt helped by the dev having come out saying he didnt think stories in video games were that important (or something like that).

Its odd because people will say adults should have better things to do then play video games. Then a lot of these same people go on and watch the reality TV show crp or are movie junkies or sports TV junkies or they play golf or cornhole or cards or they sit around and drink.... they do all sorts of other mindless crp for entertainment. What makes their mindless crp "better" and more "adult like" then my particular entertainment choice?
Sometimes suspects find a spot and are able to hide from the cops. The difference between this game and real life in that respect is that in real life the cops eventually give up searching the immediate area and instead move onto following up at other places to catch the person.
If they wanted to be more "real" they would bail after not being able to find me for say, an entire freaking day, (which I hid from the "proper" way by ducking down an ally when ...
Or once you unlock the 2nd island with the helicopter tours just steal a copter and fly to the third island. You can fly around for as long as you want with the 6 star rating. Of course you may want to be careful about getting the flying under the bridges acheivement at the same time, as they shoot down at you....though it is fun to watch the cop cars crash into the river when they are trying to "chase" you.
Other then having to shoot the enemies for so long to kill them it looks decent. And as MK_Red indicated since it is by the makers of Crimson Skies I would tend to think of it as a buy, but I want to see more before I commit to that decision.
Talk about under the radar I havent even heard about Brutal Legend... but doesnt look like my type of game. Now Fracture I have been very interested in... I thought it got pushed though. I think Dead Space is getting ink, it reminds me of the type of press Bioshock got and I am hoping it will be as good a game.
I too loved Kung Fu Chaos and would certainly love a sequel this gen.
Apparently I was never consulted in the "general consensus" as I never feared it was cancelled.... but I did wonder where it went and when it would be released. I was actually thinking that maybe they went back to make it even better and expand it more. I can't wait for this game, the first one was my favorite game on the original xbox.
