I appreciated the fact that they simply sent me an order cancellation notice with no explanation when I preordered this game months ago. Thanks THQ, I will surely be purchasing from your online store again.
Huh, sarcasm font's not working...
I laugh at Birdo because Birdo is a transgender DINOSAUR who shoots eggs, wears mascara, and sports a bow.
I don't laugh at my transgender friend about the fact that he grew up as a girl and is now a boy, and definitely don't think less of him because of a Nintendo character.
I bought it for the extras more than the games. I'm a sucker for collector's editions.
Dang, I spent more than 300 bucks in new games (admittedly it was a Borderlands 2 Loot Chest and a Street Fighter Anniversary set) in September and it didn't help much. The fact that it dropped so much compared to September 2011, and I can't remember anything that released then concerns me... because either the industry is in trouble or my memory is prematurely deteriorating.
Kane is the tag team champions. You need to keep working on that anger management.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
Now be quiet, Oompa Loompa.
Cue the cease-and-desist letter from Nintendo in 3...2...1...
I still wish that AKI could make another WWE game. WCW vs. NWO Revenge, Wrestlemania 2000, and No Mercy are still some of the greatest wrestling games ever made. (and the Fire Pro series)
Nope, but I like to think that an unredeemed code that is still intact will hold a certain appeal in the far future... wishful thinking, yes, but still there.
Only 30,000 of these were made. I've got one (PS3) and it's one of the better CEs I've purchased over the years. Nice velvet-feeling box, tons of extras, and good games. The Alpha games were a great addition and a very welcome surprise.
From the case of OG Intern., Ltd. v. Ubisoft Entertainment:
Copyright infringement requires showing that (1) movant owns copyrights and (2) respondent has created an authorized copy. Data East USA, Inc. v. Epyx, Inc., 862 F.2d 204, 206 (9th Cir.1988). Proof of copying requires showing (1) access to the protected work before creating the accused work and (2) that a substantial similarity of expression exists between the protected and accused works. I foresee many "CoD makes me want to kill myself" jokes and variants.
Love the inclusion of King of the Monsters 2 on the list; a rec center in my area had that loaded into their MVS cabinet many years ago and we all pooled our quarters to beat the game. I don't recall seeing it on the Virtual Console or any of the SNK compilations, which is unfortunate because I'd love to play it again.
"Insanely Badass" needs to be replaced with "Radical"
Sweet, all of my PS1 classics will play... time to do some downloading.
I'd want outside verification that this thing is real before I'd put down $50,000 for it.
...though I'd also need $50,000... dang.
I would love to see a university research department do something like this... what an amazing read & experiment by the creator.
I love Steam and its sales, but I will almost always pay more to get a physical copy of a game. A DD-only future would have me buying a LOT fewer games, and never at full price.
They really needed to get a feel on things.
They did it so their dev team didn't look like incompetent boobs on release.
Don't worry, they can handle it.
When they were done, they said "let's bounce."
Boobies.
