I've bought quite a few games on PS3 that came out on days other than a Tuesday.
I don't know why it's changed, but it has. You are right though. Tuesday is the norm, just like with CD's and movies.
My wife and her sister are going to Hollywood for a week on the 13th, so this game will be my LIFE (for a week).
And I will be inviting people in Home to some Metal Gear online matches while I play with my Dualshock 3.
I wonder how Home will make MGS4 and MGO cool. Any ideas?

Even if Microsoft didn't want to make another console (I'm sure they will) they could still possibly carry Live on other consoles. I would love to have Live on my PS3 because it's a great service, and in all honesty I would be willing to pay for it.
Live is an amazing interface. I will give them that much, and I can see how other console makers would love to use Live as an interface. Whoever designed the dashboard and blades concept deserves a huge bonus.

The motion sensing in Folklore was the first main PS3 game where the movement REALLY felt like you were making something happen.
Also, Flow was awesome because of it's simplicity.
Ratchet, Uncharted, and Heavenly Sword found just the right amount of motion sensing and also gave the option to turn it off.
HOWEVER
I'm gonna disagree with you about Warhawk. It's FAR easier to shake a lock on you when you use the analog sticks.

I think it's great for PSN games (HVB is awesome), but I'm just not a fan of motion sensing.
After a long days work, the last thing I want to do is wave around my controller like a maniac. Sometimes after work all I have the energy to do is move my thumbs.
Just my opinion though. I know a lot of people love it, but from a hard working guys standpoint, it's really the last thing I want from my PS3.
Doing this in COD4 and UT3 would really add a lot more strategy to the games.

I didn't really expect themes for the virtual PSP but that's pretty cool.

Maybe billboards with stats showing the best of the best for certain PS3 games/Home games with the top players on each server listed within the environment to at least spark some conversation and a little healthy competition.

Think about the COD4 multiplayer. The game is fantastic but what kept me coming back other than the gameplay was ranking up and getting the better perks and weapons.
Sony is very ingenuitive. If anyone can figure out how to do this, then they can. But from what i've seen, nothing like this is in place.
I've talked to scottie2521 (Home beta tester) about this and he proves the point even more. People disappear after a while until an update happens.

With full access to the XMB on the virtual PSP. That's one way to make sure people visit. It would be great if that was an option.
