And Sony comes out swinging hard & accurate in the early moments of Round 4.
Sony is seriously not screwing around this time. Like, at all.
I can't help but feel excited but I've also heard this type of chanter oh, I don't know, about 7 times before before almost every other console release. So I'm going to err on the side of caution this time.
Now if only the PS4 was available.
Why the hell does it have to be, "JOE SHMOE WHO PLAYS THIS GAME IN HIS MOTHER'S BASEMENT."
What pricks.
I'll edit for you, Kojima!! Hire me please!
Well that's what happens when you ignore one of the most important life skills: Integrity!
Sure hope so. AC 1 - 3 each run pretty bad.
i7-3930k @ 4.3GHz, 7970 3GB @ 1125/1575, 16Gb DDR3 @ 1866MHZ
It'll likely at least run better than the PC ports. Dear God even today on high end hardware AC1 runs pretty poorly on PC.
For teaser trailers, I can forgive the use of pre-renders CGI. For everything else, especially in this day and age, where real time graphics often look incredible, I can't stand it. Like the intro and outro videos in Crysis 3.. they're pre-rendered and look worse than the actual game! Take into account the often terrible video compression artifacts and it's unforgivable.
"it honestly looks better than anything will on next gen consoles"
I must be missing something. Or a lot of somethings. I'll go see a doctor.
I don't get it, how does Borderlands 2 make #10 best writing and #4 most atrocious writing...
Now if only the game can turn out to be so well written.
Imagine? "Includes next-gen writing!"
As long as it's fast, intuitive and visually appealing, I don't care what they do with XMB.
Because most monitors native refresh rate is 60Hz. It just looks "right" and so much smoother. The image also appears clearer/sharper as well since there is more information being shown from 30fps to 60fps. Even a low latency render time between frames at a steady 45fps will have a slight judder to it, because it is out of sync with the monitor's exact refresh rate. Movies' suspension of disbelief benefit from this effect, games do not--especially when it comes to mouse cont...
In the review, "Your partner, Dom dies A LOT."
That he does, that he does.
I hate so much that stupid shared screen where PC is the left, 360 the middle and PS3 the right to make up one full screen scene. Sure, it proves your editing skills but it's absolutely terrible for comparisons.
Sony coming out swinging with power and accuracy! Color me impressed.
Crysis 3 on PC low doesn't look all that different from Very High unlike the difference between low and high in Crysis 1 which is massive yet the performance between low, medium and high, very high is extremely dramatic.
Crysis 3 at Very High with SMAA 2TX at 1080p dips to the low 30's at times with an i7-3930k @ 4.3GHz, 16GB DDR3 @ 1866MHz and a single Radeon 7970GHz edition running 1920x1080p. To run Crysis 3 perfectly V-Synced at rarely less than 60fps and 4xMSAA, ...
Kojima, his team and their latest work deserve the added time, I am sure!
