Few things are more infuriating in the modern world than hearing what Gamer XD said. *Counts to 10, Goes for a walk*
If you have this Blu-ray PS3 version how to you get the Vita version?
Spoiler alert!
Heck yeah. Newegg rocks, I was so happy.
I bought a GTX780 TI SC on 04/16/14 and got Daylight with it for free. Called Newegg up and they honored this new deal for me since it hasn't even been two weeks!
I wonder if the pre-rendered cutscenes will be real time now or at least re-rendered with higher quality compression.
I very much want this game on PC, but will have to wait and see how it performs via reviews and user submitted YouTube videos. Not taking the risk that it doesn't run well at all ... again.
He very likely just means how he became the "evil" big boss from the original MSX2 Metal Gear 1 and 2. Snake Eater covered how he earned the title Big Boss, but not how he became ruthless. Phantom pain is going to cover that arc. Things like watching comrades die and losing mother base after all the work and losing limbs and watching Paz have a bomb removed from her belly under ridiculous conditions will change even a great man! You know, like when a normal guy gets his heart broken...
You don't "just mess up." These insiders either don't know as much as their ego's would like them to feel they do or they're just keeping it as simple as possible because Twitter. These insiders, especially Pete Dodd, seem to be treating these people more like products than the products they were working on. Probably very similar reasons surrounding Ken Levine's decision to leave Irrational and create his own indie passion-team.
Stig failed 3 times at making his new game work at all? C'mon.. I don't know about that, there has to be more to it to his benefit. I'm definitely taking all this 'insider news' with that "proverbial grain of salt."
Socom 4 failed because they didn't listen to what the fans wanted. Seriously simple as that. Completely ignore or play ignorant to what the established fan base loves about your IP and all you're going to do is weaken if not c...
lol try getting used to 30 from 144Hz. Though console performance and frame time is handled different on the software and hardware side than it is on PC. 30 on console if done well enough feels smoother than 30 on PC in many cases. Of course, overall, infinitely higher resolutions and higher frame rates are going to feel superior - it's not always entirely necessary though and you can get used to anything as long as it's smooth the majority of times.
I kinda feel the same way. I'm 24 and often have plenty of free time, but I always feel guilty spending overall 60+ hours on video games no matter how well crafted whichever title may be. I'd like to find a compromise by working in the video game industry maybe writing, editing or as a cinematography director. I currently work as a freelance camera operator for reality TV and as camera assistant for bigger budget commercials and movies. As well as VTR/Video Assist. But I have much mor...
You can see aliasing in the first marble tile scene. The assassins outfit texture is also aliased. Some of the papers in the first alley way scene fade away out of nowhere. All of this suggest real time, and I believe it is. But will they be able to keep this fidelity throughout production is the concern.
No it's not. This is only an entry level workstation GPU. Only a few professional programs make use of dual GPUs for acceleration, anyway. This card is primarily for high end, high resolution multi-monitor gaming situations or single monitor 4k gaming.
A proper exclusively workstation GPU like, for example, the RED Rocket costs $5,000 or more just for one.
I think the article is going way too hard on Kojima & crew. "Eliminate the lack of well-developed female characters in games."? Ground zeroes is a small bite from a whole pie. I have a lot of faith that Quiet is going to be an incredibly deep, memorable character than challenges a lot of stereotypes .. not starting with sex appeal and attire, though lol. Good female characters are hard to come by, but Ground Zereos is not the title to bark at for not introducing anyone new.
I have yet to listen to all the recording, but as far as the helicopter cutscene goes, though fairly graphic it was so unbelievable that it became almost silly. I was also distracted by how Snake yelled "Medic!" when he was literally right next to him. Still cringe worthy, just not too far.
Can't wait for Phantom Pain and damn do hope it comes out for PC.
Say that to Crysis 1
Thanks, but writing is a whole different ball game. Definitely apples and oranges there. Totally different workflow between writing a movie script and turning it into a movie vs video game writing. A lot of things change in either medium, but I'd say videogames are a lot harder to write well for. Everything needs to be created from scratch and too often it just cannot be done in time. I'm sure there are interviews covering what even Naughty Dog has had to scrap and change.Their writer...
That's practical though. Lenses, cameras, film are all imperfect in their ability to deliver perfectly crisp, clear images. It's inherent. Video games are digital. Perfect clarity is possible. It's like using a dirty window to look at another dirty or even clean window because it "adds character".
Just got the 21:9 LG 34um95 3440x144p and it is glorious .. for now. Stepped up from 1080p with a 7800TI. Also need it for video editing. Life is Good.
