Has Quiet lost her virginity yet? *tee-hee*
[WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS]
The only thing that was off about the intro was the one lone soldier, that was a little too "written."
My favorite part was approaching the bedroom television and hearing the affects in the game environment while watching it on TV. Genius.
And as for this article, I disagree when it comes to The Last of Us. The drama contained within this intro was the best choice given the circumstances of the story...
It's confusing to me how you have to change to "two-day shiping" even if you were at "one day shipping".
Multiplatform and it still looks that good. I'm speechless. Hoping for a PC version though.
At what resolution?? We're in for one hell of a generation if it's running all that at 1080p/60
That was a precision Phantom Punch, not a sucker punch.
Amazon doesn't charge you until it ships in December, right?
You should never scratch a Tiger, Microsoft.
Not to mention the consoles will be running 1920x1080/60 instead of 1280x720/30. I'd say this is a very commendable upgrade for console gaming.
It's running at 1080p/60f on console so it seems appropriate the graphics took a noticeable hit and it still looks amazing. Want all the bells and whistles on, you gotta go high end PC.
Looking like PS4 and PC are going to thrive next gen. I sure hope in terms of memorability this next generation surpasses the N64 as well as PS2 days. The last generation was relatively disappointing.
Back in the day, a lens flare was grounds for getting fired in the cinema world. Technically considered a mistake. Now they're all over—-movies, games probably even some books!
Not true for me. Once I complete the campaign, I'm likely going to be very upset because I won't be able to re-experience it for the first time.
The Last of Us — a significant step up from everything else.
"But the second axe, it...it hit you pretty hard there." hahaha!
That too! The intro in that regard especially was really peculiar to me.
Sure, but I was under the impression that baptism is what leads him to becoming Comstock.
I'm confused by how even "our Booker" is baptized right in the beginning in order to enter Columbia...
haha! Now I'm not going to sit here and type in depth on technically why, but generally speaking, you don't notice a difference on the GoPro because the GoPro sensor is tiny. Also, the compression on those things is terrible. Same with Digital SLRs, except they at least have large sensors. If you had a chance to see RAW 4:4:4 ARRI Alexa footage at 720p vs 1080p you'd very clearly see a difference, no pun intended. This is also true if not especially true for video games.
My guess is the next gen console versions of this game will look very similar to maxed PC, but the resolution is not likely to be as high as 1080p. Especially since they are targeting 60fps.
