I want to know what happened. I want the devs or producers to be honest about the process of development and explain why it so different. What was that first build? PC exclusive? Will it be possible Watch Dogs 2 looks far better to either build? This is annoying; it's like all previous gens where they hyped us up with pre-renderd target renders but now they use actual builds using PCs people can own and it still doesn't look the same. The sound isn't even in the same ballpark, it&...
Keeping calm. I've learned never to get excited for nearly anything for any reason. Always be cool.
The differences are so minimal beyond the obvious reflections I wonder if you have to restart the game for changes to take effect. If so, maybe Digital Storm didn't restart for each shot/change of settings? Also, no water footage.

Pretty much confirms it's legit 2.40. Hard to tell by eye in latest footage.
Yeah. Just because we're watching on a 16:9 monitor and there's black bars does not mean it's natively 2.40. I'd bet that if you played this on a 21:9 monitor it wont scale proportionately because it's rendering 16:9, 1.78 with a 2.40 mask applied to give the illusion of 2.40.
At the very least, it's could be that they've quite dramatically reduced the games FOV for performance reasons so it's like running around with an 85mm or so on a 35mm s...
This receiving a legit game copy nearly an entire week before release never happens to me..
Instead of hyping us up with pre-rendered cutscenes they now use overly ambitious builds created exclusively with some of the fastest consumer PC tech in mind and the nature of developing for pretty much every device in existence takes over from there.
Lady in the red car he stole called the cops before she even gained her balance back.
I'm confused. Why is this happening?
I thought the dev said they were going to make it 2.40. The latest footage looks like 1.78 with a 2.40 mask to fake 2.40. If this is true, they seriously need to add an option to turn off the mask and allow for fullscreen on 16:9. It won't even scale properly on a 21:9 monitor if it's not actually 2.40.
What the heck, that's not true 2.40; it's 1:78 with a 2.40 mask applied..
They're pretty darn fantastic!
I''m playing on a 780Ti SC @ 3440x1444p and it only runs at constant 60 fps if I turn off screen space reflections and turn on texture compression. Screen Space Reflections tanks the FPS at any resolution and turning texture compression off causes extremely long texture pop in and even crashes the game as if the GPU is out of memory. Changing shadow resolution among the other options makes no discernible difference in performance. All in all, it's way beter than RAGE's launch ...
The sense of acceleration and speed seems really great. I'm still excited for this game. Very much hoping the story is awesome.
Great game! Love the characters. Perfect characters. Characters are so awesome. Not crazy about id Tech 5 in its current state, but the characters in this game are wonderful!
IMO, the weakest components from worst to best in either console:
- Blu-ray drive speed and capacity
- HDD speed and capacity
- CPU
- RAM
- GPU
That's my birthday!
Looks interesting and feels unsettling. As for Cryengine, we all know how great it can look, I just hope it runs well.
The demo we're able to run is not official. If this is true it may be that certain features aren't enabled through the method we are able to run them through. Either way, I don't think it is true. The demos look pretty nice.
This is nonsense and does not prove any objectivity.
