I mean that was 5 years ago. At the time the statement was probably true and no one had even considered yet that it might come to pc. But when the games coming 5 years after its original release what does it really matter anyway?

See absolutely no sign of this. They basically have 2 support studios it seems working on ports and seem somewhat limited by that. I mean its clear insomniac will have had almost nothing todo with this port as they have far too much else going on. Absolutely 0 sign of ratchet and clank on pc at present. This is essentially a 5 year old game and no mention of miles morales. (I expect that will come to pc next spring just before across the spoderverse part 1 releases) unless Spiderman 2 on ps5...

Tbh I don't want low resolutions textures etc stretched to be displayed in 4k making the jagged edges even worse and more pronounced. 1080p is sufficient

Why compare it to avengers? The games are nothing like one another. This is an action rog with a fully open world and an emphasis on storytelling the other had section rog elements and was a level based coop live service title.
Why would Sony bother buying square? They already have exclusivity deals on most of their stuff. No more likely to buy ubisoft. MS likely can't due to completion laws whichbwould likely be invoked if they did. Buying or licensing IP's from Konami is also a liklihood as a next move by Sony.
This is plausible Sony have quite a good relationship with WB Interactive and the rights to games of the IP's they have would make it well worth it. MS has an obstacle in that after the Bethesda and activision acquisitions anti-trust laws would probably come into play. Congress has pushed back against wctivision acquisition as it is. Let's hope its not tenecent as ccp in gaming is bad for everyone.
Sounds more like a remake or remaster to me than ps plus release. Ps plus backwards compatible release shouldn't require it to be age rated again.... it's just allowing access to what has already been rated....
Platinumed ekden ring, absolutely loved it. Coukd still play it more as there's plenty more to discover. I want from software to continue to make these kind of games....
I still don't see returnal or Ratchet and Clank releasing on pc and woukd have expected to have heard something about that already if it was happening tbh.
It's literally all down to availability. The ps5 sells out as soon as its in stock still. If both could have unlimited stock then we'd be able to get an accurate picture...
Feel like the real news is that the ps4 outsold both xbox series s/x and the ps5....
