In fairness I had 100 thousand credits about half an hour into playing the gsme. I've played like 3 hours or so of actual races and currently have over 300 thousand and I've bought upgrades and cars aswell.
Were you really? If you were as someone that owns it and has owned the majority of GT titles let me tell you that really it changes nothing. If you weren't likely to buy cars instead of unlocking them then the experience will be same as past GT Titles in terms of unlocking cars.
