@bladesfist the BBC is far from impartial in many topics. GB news was never intended as a biased alternative it was simply neat as a channel that woukd cover things from different angles to the BBC and cover different types of stories and have different opinions. Now I don't watch it so can't comment on if it achieved that. I can say however that it has not failed infact its been regularly beating BBC and sky and its on viewing figures during prime time tv and gets much higher footfal...
It's not that they can't see the benefits it's that it's not financially viable. You think games pass is turning a profit you are on some strong drugs.
Given ps5'a sell out as soon as stock comes in still all we are seeing here really is who has greater supply at any one point and it tends to fluctuate between the two. It's also worth noting ps5 has over 1.5 tines as many units sold so overall has managed to supply more units so some slowdown atm doesn't mean all that much just that they got stock out earlier abs bit ns is getting more stock out atm.
It won't be easy money. I saw no one defending this simply like me stating that it wasn't that different to the previous games and that there was a better explanation than simply trying to make everyone spend 60 quid on a car lol which was never a logical accusation.
Given its releasing literally next week I think most of the changes were already palmed takes like 5 days I think typically for patches to pass authentication. But the complaints got us 1 million credits so I'm not gonna complain lol
Problem they have is after the marketing fir the last one was so on point then the game turned out to be trash and a total waste of money. Only an idiot will believe any pre-release marketing or hype and the game will subsequently suffer. Maybe it makes a comeback in the weeks after its release due to word of mouth hype like games like elden ring or red dead redemption but it will have to be exceptional. That's the problem with releasing broken games and having false marketing. That game ...
@jackBnimble no I don't. Gt sport had them too. If they actually wanted this to be a serious source of income they would make the cars more affordable. 1000 people paying a couple of pounds for a jandful of cars is alot more money than 100 people paying an extortionate amount of money for a car or two. Not to mention as someone who owns rhe game and its enjoyable enough I've never been a massive gt fan mainly got it becauae my younger siblings enjoy playing the gt games - I've spe...
Why would you reproce them? I for one don't want people buying cars they haven't earned and at that price I can only presume they don't want them too either. To buy a legendary car costing like 18 million is like 120 pounds. If you are stupid enough to spend that unlocking a car then you deserve what you get tbh.
That is a lynx is it not? or some other kind of big cat like say a puma or a panther?
They saw an imbalance where people were using races that took literally 5 mins to earn 70k a pop and just sitting there grinding them getting almost 1 million credits an hour and they reduced that to mean people were getting about 500k an hour. Clearly theh have a target for how long it should take to earn the more expensive cars.
What are you on about most games have a downtime of about 2 hours a week -just like this does? There was a one off issue that resulted in roughly 24 hour downtime. Gt sport was always online aswell and in 5 years there has literally never been another iincident like it....
All gt games have had a similar grind that is nothing knew. I don't like the microtransactions BUT priced as they are to me they appear to be something that was maybe forced upon polyphony digital do they made them outrageously expensive to discourage people bothering. I prefer it like this to on gt sport where you could easily be racing someone that bought cars for a pound or two instead of earning the credits to buy them.
.as for always online it's to guarantee to the FIA t...
Then don't buy it. Moving on.
This was a one off- it was due to a serious bug that otherwise woukd have lead to people's game data being corrupted etc.
@dumahim actually on the past there have been issues regarding exploits where changing save data allowed you to edit the top speed of cars and other such things. Online only saves is a way of eliminating any risk of such an exploit iccuring again. Its a requirement by the FIA in order to allow association and as such the sports mode.
The 10 million credit plus cars were there before the patch. The patch that lowered earnings in some races abd increased earnings in some others released a week after launch. If you were actually playing the game and looked at what was changed you'd know that actually they clearly had a target for how long it woukd take to earn x number of credits and certain races which coukd be completed in under 5 mins were breaking that. They were rendering championships meant to be the best way of ea...
Elden ring doesn't have only online as a requirement for association with the FIA in order to ensure players when they come online aren't using hacked game files-something people have done in previous titles. If you actually do some research into why it requires a connection you'd know this. This is no different to how gt sport worked and it states it on the box.
The game has online only in order to save your game becauae if oast instances qhere people used save data to hack the game. In order for the FIA to allow association with the game they require certain standards to ensure people aren't cheating and that in turn leads to both sport and gt7 requiring online connection to function. It tells you that on the box/ps storr page quite clearly. If you don't like that simply don't buy it.
So I have a degree in physics and a good understanding of tech. Also most of my predictions are either correct or in the right ball park (not just for gaming but also other things like politics and stuff) I have great data analytic skills (kinda a given you know... multiple physics degrees) anyone wanna... you know maybe fucking hire me ffs rather than hiring idiots like this guy? I'm not joking speaking as someone stuck working in a supermarket the world's fucked up. -_-
Umm ever consider it will probably just give you the basic ps plus for one year and you will need to upgrade to get the premium one?
