Honestly.... rather play mw2/3 aay what you will about COD but at least the games are playable on release. The DMZ is far better than the battlefield attempt at the same concept. Cod has a solid campaign typically to boot.
Yeah when someone internally pointed out that the laws of physics set an insurmountable issue in the form of latency. Look at typical response times that are considered good for a controller right you are talking 15 ms or less I know ps4 and xbone era it was about 8ms. Now what's average latency of your Internet? 20, 30? 100ms? orders of magnitude higher that's not including other processing obstacles for imput coming from the Web that can delay things further.
I mean it might run oassivky well but it's not replacing physical hardware fir 80+% of players ever. Unless you literally live next to their servers- the laws of physics mean that latency will always be an issue.
The thing is gta4 was pretty boring and gtav was way more fun. So that's a subjective opinion however on the matter of Nicole and diming their fans yes that is a shame to see but sadly not too surprising these days
I think you overestimate how much they are worth, considerably. They will cut their studios considerably and when the grim work is done someone will swoop in and buy them at a bargain price just before they collapse completely. They'll get those ip for a bargain.
I mean aony purchasing them would be a solid idea for them, they now own the Tolkien estate and Sony own film studios/film distribution so not only is it a win for them in terms of the ips but also the cross media opportunities which they are big on atm and are fine outsourcing and would probably have no problem continuing to outsource the movies to WB. It also gives them an excellent negotiating position for 3rd party exclusive content on WB games. Plus I'd love to see a high quality LoT...

See if it slike gt7 then all this means is a feature complete game with some tweaks coming post launch and then new tracks and cars etc. Special events and such.
However I get the impression what this really means is an incomplete gsme launching to have the missing features patched in and then to get season passes to get new cars and tracks etc.
