Yeah, I'd still get it. I don't typically buy used, I'm not really interested in Nintendo's game lineup or online strategies, and Gamestop is a rip-off any way you cut it so I never trade stuff in. If Sony and Microsoft offer some way to buy a serial code for a used disk on the occasions I buy or sell used on Ebay or Amazon, then yeah, nothing to stop me from picking up an anti-used console.

lol, only reason I came into comments board was for this.

Just as an FYI, the retake Mass Effect Facebook page is denouncing this article. According to them, the movement is not definitely not winding down and this author doesn't speak for them. A lot of people don't think Bioware's going to follow through in a way they want. Like I said, fyi.

I would. We asked for it, they weren't going to make it but will if we pay; I'll pay.

Well, to anyone who doesn't have it yet: buy it now. This is an excellent game =D

I actually never heard about this interview, but after reading the article, I can't seem to muster the rage to feel bothered by her comments. Writers aren't testers or designers; their work doesn't involve control schemes or map layouts. Her work doesn't require experience in the medium, just in the genre. If she's a big fan of classical fantasy books and movies and has good writing skills, I'd say she's qualified to try writing on a Dragon Age video game.

Not happening. MS doesn't show enough interest in the PC market, and Valve seems to have nothing but disdain for MS's content approval and distribution policies lately.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say more Kinect. I can't say what Microsoft tends to announce historically at a private showcase like this, but I doubt it'll be as big as an E3 showing. I'd be interested if any core (controller based) games were shown, but for the last few years that hasn't happened much, so I'm prepared for a look at the "core" Kinect titles they've been hyping and maybe some info on new dashboard features. No hate for MS, just my pred...

Lol, not sure what people are disagreeing with this for. "I really hope..." seems reasonable enough.

@omi25p I never saw them saying anything was exclusive to the Collector's Ed. I would ask you for a link to the video/page, but you're out of comments, so does anyone else know of an article where they said "From Ashes is exclusive to the CE"?

@MrBeatDown: Well said!

@beastlysensation: er, what PC games do you play? You realize expansion packs are essentially big DLC released later in life, right? Most of my PC games have DLC or expansion packs available. As for "milking" on the PC, a few quick examples: Blizzard's line of World of Warcraft products, and the splitting of Starcraft 2 into THREE FULL PRICED TITLES (still angry about that one); Bethesda's Oblivion Horse Armor; Bioware Store (y...

Not sure what you're arguing here Blacktric. Is it okay for DLC to be unimportant and shallow? Don't we hate that just as much (horse armor anyone)?

They made the DLC character a Prothean because they knew people would want it. That's the point, to market something people want. Were Kasumi or Zaeed critical to the story? No, and people didn't clamor to buy them. If this DLC character were a human archaeologist who had touched a beacon and knew the entire...

Wouldn't everyone complain if the DLC was frivolous? Horse-armor, companion skins, etc? It IS just a DLC character, and if the story is complete without it, its NOT a big deal. See, a big deal would be if the final mission against the Reapers was day-one DLC, or if important plot points were cut out for DLC. Is a Prothean important within the world of Mass Effect? Of course! But you're arguing that it's important to the story, which you (or I) can't actually say because ...

Apples and Oranges. Turn-based, third-person, character-driven RPG versus real-time, first-person, exploration-driven RPG. To sum up the article, you basically like apples more than oranges.

As to the games in question, I've got 80 hours in Dragon Age Origins and 100 in Skyrim. Loved them both, sorry you didn't, hope Dragon Age 3 rocks our socks off.

*MW2 Spoiler* I remember playing MW2 campaign through in one sitting, and thinking, "Wait...Shepard is bad? Um, when was this foreshadowed...or explained..." And also, who was the VIP you were supposed to be rescuing in the DC level? Was that the foreshadowing? Were we going to Shepard's house and finding evidence he was a traitor? IDK, but THAT was why I hated MW2's campaign. I'm Just...Saiyan.
