Well, SOME people think Shattered Dimensions looks cool...I'm not one of them, but still =P
IDK, I thought 2099 was better than simple Black Suit vs Red Suit. That wasn't even another dimension.
though I never got to try the coop for MUA 1 or 2.
but it's not really more than that. I mean, there's some new bells and whistles, but it's mostly just a nice graphics overhaul.
I LOVED Starcraft 1, but 2 is such a bore, story-wise anyway. The whole campaign 3/4 of the way through is "We are angry raiders and we save random people and steal stuff to make money"...okay then. Plus, the Protoss mini-campaign is kind of a kick in the face with, "There IS exciting stuff happening in the universe, you're just not a part of it, the Protoss and Zerg are." Well great, that makes me feel loads better while I rescue another settlement from aliens. Th...
It'd be nice if the submitted articles were in readable english translations. This one is especially bad.
I don't see any world-premiers, unless the article is referring to what's playable, but that's not world-premier since we've seen gameplay from all the titles listed (well, except Rage, but there have been hand's on previews for a while now). Am I missing some big announcement in the translation here?
thank you, and yes, that's what I meant...though it would've been pretty funny otherwise, lol
Actually, I've thought this too. If Activision and EA REALLY want to fight the used game issue, then they should get into the business themselves. "If you can't beat em, join em!" Instead of putting all this effort into premium code sites and piddly content to draw gamers to new copies, they should have a buyback system (half price buyback would be doing better than Gamestop, they'll only give you $20), and then resell the used games at a slightly reduced price. They...
see, I wold be inclined to agree with that, but it would hurt the developers more, not the publishers. EA and Activision have their hands in many pies at once (Activision probably rakes millions each month from WoW subscriptions alone), but the developer has been putting all their efforts into one, maybe two games at a time. If everyone stonewalls a game, the publisher bites the bullet and pulls support from the dev for a failed launch, and the studio goes under from financial collapse. Ta...
That is the case, but you can never tell how many previous owners a used game has had. It could be sold new, then resold five times used, and each used sale could cost only $5 less than the new price. In such a case, the developer made $60, while the retailer made $250. Not saying 5 resells is above or below average since I don't know, but even two resales is nearly double the game's original cost going to the used game seller.
Really wish they'd gone ahead with the sequel they teased at the end of the game. =*( Probably the best indie game I ever played.
for bringing attention to these arcade titles. You should do an article on PSN titles coming out this summer too. Hopefully there are at least a few, lol
that average games tend to get overlooked. In fact, most gamers consider a 7 or lower to be a failing grade. When so much time and money goes into buying a new game and investing the effort to play it, people can be pretty choosy about their purchases. That said, I think it's important for a gamer, when deciding on whether to buy a new game or not, to look for a reviewer who shares their interests and tastes in games. For example, Heavy Rain got good to great reviews. I, however, rea...
I am VERY impressed with the work that went into this. Kudos to you, this is a great video. I'm still impressed with the work Rockstar put into the environments in this game, especially the weather and lighting effects. Again, good job.
It is interesting how well the PS3 Medal of Honor is doing in preorders. I wonder how many will be canceled as the release get's closer. I'm curious to see if the PS3 exclusive content will actually help sales, since it usually is the 360 where shooters sell better.
It's the Red Box, or whatever color they make it, containing Portal 2, Half-Life 3, and Counterstrike 2 or something for a 2011 release date. I REALLY don't want to have to boo them come E3 for just announcing some stupid Portal 2 news after all the head-banging-against-a-wall we've been doing over this surprise. =(
I doubt there will be anything substantial to do with Versus, maybe another CGI trailer, but after XIII I could care less about those, they're too misleading. Gameplay is the only thing that could excite me for Versus now.
As for the rest of the line-up, coming out of SE itself all they have is an MMO and 4 handheld titles. Human Revolution, Dungeon Siege 3, and the new Tomb Raider look exciting, but aren't they just publishing those rather than developing? It's sad, I ...
that is hoping and praying for a new box announcement. I seriously don't believe it'll happen, but I would dance with joy if they announced the Red Box or something with HL3, CS2, and Portal 2 or something. *Sigh, dream dream dream.
yeah, at this point, anything besides Episode 3 or HL3 will just disappoint me. CS2? Meh, never played number 1. L4D3? They must be joking. A new IP would REALLY irritate me at this point, because with their small team, there's no way they could be working on HL3 AND new material.
They did a DC vs Mortal Kombat game, why not a DC vs Marvel?
