Good one. Someone also pointed out Soul Sacrifice I believe.

Totally lacking in info; tried to do it from memory and too many coincidences equalled one big crap-storm of mistakes. The plant part was meant to be whimsical, but I'll just accept it looked stupid and move on, lol.

Wish I could preorder, but already preordered XCOM on Amazon for the $15 bonus credit. As soon as that code comes in the mail though, buying Dishonored, so at least I'm week one =)

@WiiUAlpha - I enjoy RTS, western RPGs, first person shooters, and cinematic action adventures. Those were not the dominant genres on Wii or the DS. I wasn't the target audience. Like I said, WiiU may win me over in time, but Nintendo hasn't been my cup of tea in a while.

@1up - I can relate to that. I'm not big on most things Nintendo, but I'm also not their target audience for a lot of products. I wasn't a fan of Wii, 3ds, or most of their franchises, but Wii U is pretty close to what I'd look for in a new console. It has the hardware to carry modern multiplats, online access, and an innovative twist to set it apart (the controller of course). The exclusives are a bit more diversified than previous platforms, and the target audience isn&#...

Why get bent up over people saying the games coming to the console don't appeal to them? I loved Batman Arkham City, but Armored Edition has no appeal for me because I already played it. Black Ops 2 and Assassin's Creed 3 will probably be great on Wii U, but I have a PS3 and PC already, so it doesn't attract me to buy a Wii U; maybe if I was desperate for that "superior" experience, but I'm not. As for the exclusives, if they're not your kind of games, they...

Lol, not sure how anyone can disagree with you having a baby and a bunch of games to play this holiday season. I for one agree wholeheartedly. You DO have a baby, and there ARE a bunch of games to play.

As to the article's question...nah. I'll be sad missing out on Bayonetta 2, but it's a lot of money for multiplats and exclusives that don't appeal to me. Hope it succeeds and draws me in later, but for now, so long and good luck Nintnedo.

@DigitalRaptor Good on you for admitting the mistake. Bubbles to you amigo =D

As to the article, never tried Infinity Blade since I don't have access to any iOS devices. May remedy that one day, but seeing the series come to Vita, PC, or console would be nice.

Would you be willing to sacrifice your last bubble to elaborate on the pros and cons of Win 8? You're the first gamer I've seen who said they're in the beta and liking it, and I'm very curious about it (especially if the compatibility is that much improved). Are you using a distribution service to access your games (aka Steam)?

Double post, my bad, lol

Thrift stores. They sell used PC games as DVDs or CDs sometimes for a couple bucks. The folks behind the counter don't know anything about gaming when they buy your box of stuff for a few dollars, and the kids who buy them probably don't know they need a new CD key to play either. Its not a scam, its a junk shop, and some kids are buying junk for a buck, that's all.

Agreed; I picked up the Assassin's Creed series for $50. I might never have known I enjoyed the series. Now I'm interested in AC3. Win for Ubisoft, win for Valve/Steam, win for me.

Yeah, I'm with Starchild on this one. Buying the PC seems steep, but the games tend to drop in price more quickly, not to mention all the free-to-play stuff out there now as well (MOBA's, MMO's, Casuals). Also, when next-gen rolls around, you can upgrade your PC for a hundred bucks on new graphics or ram, versus the $300 starting price of a new console. I still like to have a PS3 in the house for Blu-Ray and exclusives, but most of my gaming has shifted to PC and its been a lot...

It's the Leviathan DLC; the script leaked a few weeks ago and they mention a submarine.

I personally felt like the author was missing the point entirely. Minecraft: a game focused solely on customization and creation. Epic: a company famous for their modding tools and accessible engine. Fortnite: a potential playground for modders wanting to jump into developing on Unreal Engine 4, combing the creation based gameplay of MC and the power Epic's tools bring to the table.

And yet he complains about graphics and production values. I'm a PC gamer, and I d...

To quote Zero Punctuation in reference to World of Warcraft:

Yahtzee: "Why do you raid?"
WoW Player: "To get the best items!"
Yahtzee: "What do you use the best items for?"
WoW: "To Raid With!"

Same; I went ahead and spoiled the story for myself by watching someone else play, and the ending was dark and samey enough that I just lost the will to keep going. Plus I got tired of latency and log-out errors while trying to play alone, but that kind of goes without saying at this point.

See my below comment, but they're not releasing Versus 13 this gen, and THAT'S why he's angry its taking so long for them to release the next generation consoles. When XIII flopped (relative to past experience), they said, "okay, its too hard to develop on the 360 and PS3, and the graphics aren't perfect anyway. Let's wait a year or two and develop Versus on next-gen! It'll be easier and better than what we could do now anyway!" A year or two later, "...
