@crzyjackbauer
From what I've read he didn't break it. Hackers gained access to a Dev kit which gave them access to the code, which they wouldn't have had without the dev kit.
I really do hate statistics like this, they are pointless, aren't accurate by any means, and in this case is just a sad attempt to label gaming as a bad thing.
How about match that one up in a list with how many people out of 10 are:
Drug users
Fail in school
Cutters
H.S. drop outs
teenage parents etc.
When your done the 1/10 kids are addicted to gaming statistic won't be so bad.
And if its not, its not a huge deal. I'll get more entertainment out of that $8 then I did the $8 I spent at Burger King yesterday :)
I'm seriously hoping you aren't considering timed DLC as a game? facepalm.
This game just doesn't intrigue me for some reason. It looks good but nothing makes me want to go out and buy it right now, not sure why that it is.
Might have been in development for five years but look leaps and bounds better than whats on the 360. And spare me the it was in development five years line, 360 devs can spend that amount of time on a game if they want.
My first sixaxis controller died like 3 months ago.
Sorry you had bad luck but I haven't read a rash of complaints about controllers not lasting anywhere.
I'm not 'in the know' on the whole issue with how this kid got the phone but if Sony sent him the phone I'm betting there was some sort of contract that he couldn't release certain information about it etc. Violating that, like any contract, warrants the response Sony is sending.
If the kid got the phone and wasn't supposed to have it then again, how did he end up with a phone he clearly wasn't supposed to have?
Again, I don't...
As for not having any real games what are you playing? MOVE has plenty of titles out that are 'real games'.
- MAG got the patch and with enough practice it works very well.
- Heavy Rain got a MOVE patch and added replay value to the entire game with it, hows that not real?
- Sports Champions, while a 'casual' title is a full fledged game that is challenging as well.
- The Fight: Lights Out (see my above comment before yours) may have go...
I can't really comment on Kinect because I only tried the demo at Best Buy briefly but the software I've seen for it as far as games go isn't making me want to go out and grab one.
I'm not a big fan of the Wii. The idea was good but the implementation could have been better and thats what Sony did, utilize the tech better. I can hit home runs on Wii sports by flicking my wrist, good luck doing stuff like that with the MOVE, it doesn't happen. Granted, you ...
Achievements in Starcraft II, WoW, and 'Steam Achievements' all say hi.
Using MOVE is optional, you can play it with normal controller as well. Options are a good thing, as long as one doesn't affect the quality of the other.
Read other comments, these are U.S. numbers. GT5 is killing Europe.
The issue is BF is a more team oriented game. You can create whatever class you want in CoD because you are basically playing rambo the whole game. BF has classes because its about teamwork and playing as a team. One guy can't do it along, but together you can. Its not 'completely' team oriented but its much better than CoD in that respect.
The problem these companies face is that people have YEARS tied up into WoW, their accounts, their friends, their guilds etc. People may leave to try something new but that ever present thought of "but I already have so much wrapped up in this" always returns and I think that makes a lot of people return to WoW.
Unlocks lead to people moaning and groaning that the guy with more time to play than them is owning because he has an uber l33t lvl 3412343 gun that they haven't unlocked yet.
Very deserving win.
Great video man, you do an excellent job of reviewing these titles and people appreciate it. Keep it up.
What blows my mind about this game is that they didn't include mouse/keyboard support when the PS3 already has support for it. C'mon!!!. I love RTS's but I don't know if I'll get this, it just looks clunky almost. I love the MOVE and I have 3 controllers + nav but it doesn't mean its perfect for all things.
I don't care who likes what game, thats a matter of opinion. But BigKurz8 you apparently don't remember the MASS PS3 HATE that existed on this site when the PS3 was released, it was beyond pathetic.
The Shoot isn't exclusive?
The Fight: Lights Out isn't exclusive?
I'm assuming your talking about games that are played with the MOVE only, and even then I don't think that should be how its looked at considering games like MAG, and Heavy Rain both feature incredible MOVE support that allow you to replay both games in their entirety with the MOVE alone, and both of those are exclusives.
