I'd hardly say that the majority of any game reviews anymore are a persons opinion which many of them are going very high or very low to draw in hits, accepting payments for quality reviews etc.
The biggest issue with these GT5 reviews as that so many of them include blatantly false information, with the most obvious being the lack of damage.
Have a bubble.
@LilMissGoddess
I could only imagine the complaints people would field over this game if they suffered damage the minute they installed the game and couldn't afford to fix their new car before the next race. We'd see a rash of ...
"omfg I cant drive cause imz not l33tz and c@nt @fford to buy sh!tz"
As much as we like the sales and are sure its selling good we can accept VGChartz as acceptable because it would benefit us, that would be playing the fanboy game. Lets wait for a better source.
Last paragraph of the review includes the sentence:
"Especially sad is that the game is unable to convey either collisions or damage to any acceptable manner."
Take it for what its worth, not much.
And yet the last paragraph says this:
"Especially sad is that the game is unable to convey either collisions or damage to any acceptable manner."
How professional can it be when it hasn't properly reviewed the damage that occurs at higher levels, which has been proven via videos and player accounts on this site? I beg to differ on the term 'professional'.
Edit -
Lol at the disagree's. How about pos...
Reviews suck. Game media sucks. Lack of damage should be immediately followed up with "we failed to achieve a high enough level to experience the damage introduced in GT5."
I'm not a racing fan and I'm loving GT5, just wish I had more time to play it.
Well said, have a bubble.
Good score. Hard to believe some of the low scores considering the amount of content and features the game has. I'm enjoying my copy which is all that really matters.
Yeah the reviews of GT5 baffle me. I got it and I'm not even a race car fan and I don't know a lot about cars but the game is packed with content and beautiful to boot. I like it a lot.
@ John Madden.
I'm gonna agree with PedroBear on this one. Sony is running two models right now with the 3000 and the GO, and while the GO was clearly a design/feature test they could have dropped the 3000 if they wanted. The new model will again support a disc feature + digital so they can release it whenever.
I had a PSP 3000 and sold it and am highly tempted to get one again thats for sure. The only thing stopping me is the 'assumption' that a ...
Wow, what a blatant lie. Give me a break. I canceled my OnLive free year membership after playing some of the games and seeing that they want to charge you for a game they may very well take off their servers in a year or two.
The graphics are no where near on par with a high end gaming rig.
Great example of what happens when you have a Government that controls everything and you have limited competition. Long live multiple game companies - you keep fighting for my dollar!
Until I see the crap spawn points fixed and other issues I wont even consider a subscription. People are all so happy about throwing their money away without demanding crap that should be fixed or completed right before hand.
This clearly depends on what genre you enjoy more. Action/Shooter stuff go with the first. LBP and ModNationRacers are both EXTREMELY good titles but are EXTREMELY different than the first package.
Figure out what you enjoy playing more and go with that package.
As much as Bobby rubs me the wrong way, and all that hoopla, I will note one positive thing.
I bought CoD Black Ops, I came home, I turned it on and I played Multiplayer.
I know other games that I can't because "omg its day 1 expect server problems". So um yeah.
Depends really on the group you get with. Clearly your gonna be better off gaming with people you know as thats how it is in any game. That being said if you go as a random and just start talking and communicating your going to find others who are willing to do it with you. Lot of good players play random games when their friends aren't on just waiting to communicate with others.
MAG is an EXCELLENT game.
I'd trust them almost more than these companies putting out these games. Granted BP's latest incident caused unimaginable damage but they operated for years without one. Every other car company has just as many recalls as Toyota so singling them out isn't fair to them, they still make cars that win awards year after year. Difference is they pay millions to fix the damages.
Gamers get half ass games with a couple patches and if shit still doesn't go well the de...
How do we even consider this acceptable? We shouldn't be the QC testers for these companies. We should be getting finished products, not trash.
Its pretty evident why you have two bubbles. The huge profit Sony makes off the huge amounts of users who frequent HOME says hello.
People like yourself who knock 'options' when you aren't required to purchase or partake in them amaze me.
