I'm sure Sony is well aware that subscription based gaming is affected by this. That being said they aren't gonna say anything about reimbursements until the network is back up I'm sure so they know exactly what to reimburse. I mean I guess a statement saying "We will reimburse you" would be nice but I'm just as fine with seeing it after everything is restored and they can then say "We're gonna reimburse you x $ for the x # of days the network was down"...
Yeah, Sony would shutdown their servers on a holiday weekend with three big title releases, Portal 2, MK, and Socom 4. That logic is terrible.
Yeah that makes sense, I mean clearly if you leave your door unlocked you deserve to have your house broke into. Why on earth would we blame the criminal who did something he wasn't supposed to do anyway.
Keep it up idiots. You aren't winning any fans with you mess with the service of people who just want to play games.
Was hoping to hear more about if the party system is going to work upon release tomorrow, how long the missions are, etc.
Have a bubble on me.
Try selling it to some poor sap who has to wait for public BETA. You know someone will buy it for a couple bucks.
People who pre-ordered KZ3 can use their BETA code next week. PS+ Users got it today.
The Wii or Wii2 aren't gonna make the 360 or PS3 irrelevant, just like the 360 or PS3 isn't gonna make the other irrelevant.
The next Wii 'could' beat the PS3 in terms of power but I doubt it will. Nintendo could have made the current Wii better and they didn't, why would they go even higher with the next one? I'm not saying they won't I just don't see any reason to really believe they would. I say this because their customer base continues to...
Dunno if it will always be worth the price tag. With the PS3 releasing at $600 we're getting closed to that custom built PC that is capable of more than a gaming machine, even at what the current ones offer.
I love my PS3 but the higher the price gets the easier it is to justify just spending the money on a PC.
Apparently SE has decided they haven't hit the bottom of the barrel yet?

Completely disagree MidnytRain. Its a time like this when sites dedicated to a certain subject, ie this one, should focus on the issues in Japan, especially when such events have occurred that cause such issues with this community apparently.
How about rather then an article focusing on how many ps3's and xbox's have gone awash they write an article about how gamers should assist people in that community because its a huge gaming area?
I especially lo...
Completely agree, people are suffering and someone is writing about how the gaming community is affected and the shows that were canceled?
Probably true about the sales but I'm getting BF3 Day 1. I'm done with CoD.
And then oddly enough Activision turns around and charges $15 for overpriced maps, rendering the $10 fee of the EA code for used games mute.
I liked the BFBC2 movement. Thought it was well done and I still love the game. To each his own I guess.
About as bad as your troll attempt. MAG was an awesome game and considering Zipper just put out another update it for it is great as well.
I don't really care how they do it with the maps, doing it how BFBC2 was would be ideal with them all being free if you bought it new.
The only major complaint I had about the maps was when I would be in a group with a buddy who didn't have the maps, rather than only pair us with the maps he had it would load us into a game where he didn't have the map and just boot him from the group, which is just stupid.
Stupid article.
The network may be down but as a major corporation Sony still follows a schedule. Its not like the content isn't still gonna be there when the network goes back up.
Secondly good work tormenting gamers yourself. You not only remind them of an update that Sony posted while the network is down but you reminded them that they can't enjoy the content anyway. Whats the point?
I'll save everyone the time of going to you...
