This is awesome news and a huge movement for eSports in general, especially the EXTREMELY large Starcraft fanbase outside of Korea. I truley hope this goes well for them as it could do a lot for eSports, regardless of the game.

Your commment about doing stuff to companies who make people fat is just stupid. People make choices and decide what they eat, how they eat, and if they exercise or not. Its not the companies fault people make poor choices, its their own fault.
The Government, any Government, should have no power to make decisions for me. If I wanna be unhealthy I can be, thats my choice.

Sales doesn't equal people playing. Tell me you've never bought a game thinking it was going to be great and found it sucked?
Arksine said it best.
Because poor reviews and people who do it to get hits shouldn't be allowed to just run around and spout random crap out without any opposition.
Exactly, sales alone do not justify 'success'. Then again I guess if your only considering sales then sure.
I just wish they'd release XCOM: UFO Defense as a PS1 classic so I could play it on my PSP already. I'll keep dreaming ;/
I bought BO b/c all my personal friends got it, that being said I'm not wasting my money again. No thanks.
Same I played last night for 3 hrs and so far love the game. Its one of the few games that has gotten me to read every piece of lore I find as I go which has been alot so far :O
Pictures being leaked are the equivalent of a dealer selling a product early since when?
Who's got a PSP2 already? I haven't seen a single article or source claiming to have one but pictures are another story.
I'd rather hope they didn't make a next one if this one sucked so bad. I mean what compels someone to say 'I wasted $60!? This game is terrible, pay another so I can give you another $60'
Considering how soon the meeting is supposed to be I'd say anything released is probably released on cue to build hype.
Pachter is only right in the fact that Gamers in general don't do anything to honestly back up their voice. When a credible organization is formed that has a user base that truly backs up their claims to ie petition and or boycot the purchase of something then we may see companies do what we expect.
Until then many of these gamers will continue to buy the same CoD game, knowing the same company is involved, and will continue to complain about their decision. Shame.
You own the hardware but when it comes to the software, and what not in it then you agree to a contract to use it. I doubt Apple would care what you did with your iPod but if you violate the terms of their use you aren't gonna be able to use iTunes because thats what its designed for. Its not there fault they design it to only work with their software, its your fault for buying it knowing that.
I don't really care what you do with your own property that you own but wh...
In a reply post on the US blog he says anyone who pre-orders it gets the code, from NA that is. I'd imagine retailers just haven't updated their listings yet.
In other news another Hype train was witnessed today. Early reports show the construction of the train is in early stages but expect progress to be made. Keep checking further sites reporting further updates on the current progress of said Hype train.
Believe it when I see it is the point.
The disc has some DLC on it but I think this DLC may be for people who buy it used and be 'extra' DLC for people who don't want to wait to get guns unlocked through gameplay I think. Then again I don't know lol :)
The fact that Sony is selling Modern Combat at a discounted rate to its PS+ subscribers on its release day is HUGE. They are listening apparently because PS+ users have been clammering for that since PS+ came out.
Pretty decent update this week across the board.
Its a damn good thing sales mean so much. Keep rocking your predictions Pachter, I'll keep rocking my MOVE.
I'm a little shocked this wasn't included on the disc, and had I had time to play it today I'd be a bit pissed if I couldn't access the comic since I didn't have the chance to play ME1. Stuff like this annoys me, was there really a reason the comic couldn't be put on the disc?
Maybe Activision should consider toning down their abuse of the gamers and the milking they do? Then maybe games won't hate so much about them.
