Except for the fact that DICE has said platoons won't be included at launch, and to look for the release early 2014 which is a joke.
I can deal with everything else in regards to bugs, glitches, a lack of planned Day 1 features that aren't included simply b/c this is a beta. But to have such an importance feature missing entirely is a crock.
$5 for what? PSN itself remains free in terms of downloading and being online. Playing multiplayer online will cost the PS+ subscription fee but it does not cost anything to play F2P games via PSN.

Sony has shown time and time again that they deliver the games, and will continue to do so. Keep being overly stoked about what you claim to be an awesome launch line-up (subjective as it is) because based on how the exclusives worked out for the 360 it's probably all you'll get.

I'm not surprised by this. What annoyed me about how Microsoft did it is that they made it out like some game changing feature, when its simply a small feature. Sony is doing it right, focus on the games, and then throw out the simple stuff as it is, something simple.
It doesn't do anything for me and I'd expect it with the tech we have now so it is what it is.
It did world wide. It's only slightly hyped because its #1 in the U.S. They still got outsold world wide by Sony.
I'm not knocking them in this case, I mean, brag about where you are doing well at, but lets not pretend this is more than it is.

Easy to beg for forgiveness and apologize when it didn't go the way they planned. Consumers won and that's the most important thing. What else did we expect them to do.... Say they aren't sorry for crappy policy? Microsoft knows they screwed up and now they have to go through all the motions to earn customers back. Good, glad it was impressive. I've never had a problem with the system itself, nor its services, but I've always had a problem with Microsofts policies and now, their lack of clear direction.
If the system is good, works good, and services work well then good for those consumers who choose to buy it. I won't be a supporter because I feel Microsoft treats consumers poorly (ala free stuff behind a pay wall, lack of Direction with their plan to include poor DRM init...
