@4.0 While I agree Breath of Fire just couldn't work out, MegaMan Legends 3 is a whole different story, just by the amount of things working in its favor.
The MT Framework engine, powering Dead Rising and Lost Planet, was quoted by Keiji Inafune ("father" of Mega Man and also father of Onimusha, Dead Rising and Lost Planet) as being the engine he wanted to make MML3 on.
The control scheme of Lost Planet was surprisingly similar to MML3 and the addition of Mega Man...

The PSP version has flaws. Slowdowns on every single special attack, sound de-sync and lower/changed sound quality are a few of the problems. Once you're done with the story, there's very little reason to do the co-op/versus stuff since there's nothing to actually use its rewards on (no new, deeper dungeon or anything).
If they were to actually fix those flaws in a PS3/PSP re-release of the PSP version, I'd be all-in and paying full PSN game price for the game (aroun...

Search for "Tactics", narrow down your search by platform to PSP/PSOne/PS3 (whichever you want) and you'll see that they changed their PSOne rating to include that it's coming to PSP and PS3 for that specific version.
Jack never said FFXIV was exclusive. He said it would be the only *console* you'd be able to play the game on.
Whether or not that holds true also remains to be seen, but for now PS3/PC still counts as *console* exclusive, even though it isn't really exclusive.
Montrealien, you really need to check facts a second time.
Chrono Trigger was a SNES game that was ported to the PSOne with horrid results. Chrono Cross, which you have in your post, is a game that took another Squaresoft game's storyline (Radical Dreamers) and made it fit with the Chrono Trigger story.
Anyway, 300K for a port is a pretty solid showing, considering how it's a port. If Square Enix isn't happy with those numbers, they should've remade the game instea...
Yep, at least we're not paying around $15 like Japan and Hong Kong did when they released the game for their stores.

I agree. I had problems with their E3 page, of all places. A white background and white text didn't blend too well, though I'm sure Sony will iron this out soon enough. (just switch the text to black and all is well)
Probably has something to do with Big Boss's beret saying "Militaires Sans Frontieres".
The real life soldiers with no borders are UN soldiers. They're usually tasked with upholding the peace rather than waging wars. Perhaps the MSF were that, or a reflection of the Green Berets (US version) within UN forces (peacekeeping special ops).
Err... Portable Ops starred Big Boss and was on the PSP...
Capcom's 1989 game Sweet Home started Survival Horror far before AitD. Before Sweet Home, there was Haunted House by Atari.
Crash Commando feels a lot like an old PC game called Soldat. That makes the game awesome.
I can get behind Suikoden VI.
A Suikoden game that goes back to the original series (Tierkreis was a joke story-wise) would be greatly appreciated and pretty unexpected at this point.
Make it happen, Konami.
The trophies in Japan all require some pretty heavy stuff, but the gold trophies pertain to completing a 100 level run (no exits) of a Land of Carnage Item World, dealing more than a few billion damage, etc.
The trophies are obviously geared toward current players while showing you how powerful you can become if you're starting a new game.
One already exists. It kind of looks like this...
Tiger? ---> TIGER!
TIGER! ---> Tiger?
Not really. It's got a lot of movement that could be considered platformer, but it plays far more like other sandbox styled games (GTA, etc.)
The demo might be a bit more confusing on that issue, though.
Anyway, I never overly liked Mario 64. While its gameplay is kinda good, I found that them applying the slip & slide functionality of the 2D games made for more frustration than not (without counting the tons of bugs that were discovered due to it).
@FantasyStar: Broken in the sense that if you could buff up Horses just enough, you'd be able to run over the entire storyline. The only time any of the riding classes were outmatched was when you reach the level 99 battles, where you actually had to respect weaknesses somewhat.
@1.1 Sir, I needed a laugh today. You just provided one BIG TIME!
The logo looks cool, though. So I guess it's an oxymoron logo? A cool, fiery logo?
Hey, they tried something new when they released Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War.
Squad based battles was an interesting concept (though it was broken for that game).
If you're only listing USA deals, then the deal list is pretty short. If not, BestBuy.ca has Prototype for $45 CAD while it's $40 in stores.
