It looks absolutely beautiful. The DS version was already great, but this is a welcome version of the game.
While I agree, they sometimes from people who are self-confessed fans/fanboys of the franchise/company/genre the game is from. That's where things get sticky: When fans start criticizing heavily, you can start getting worried about the quality.
Magazines can make mistakes sometimes. At least Game Informer confirmed it and didn't try to deny the mishap existed.
Wait a sec, is No More Heroes an import review? I didn't know anyone was intending on localizing the PS3/360 HD version. Anyone else have more information on this?
You mean Ar tonelico 2? NISA fired the team who was responsible for that mess.
So THIS is how GT5 should have been introduced at E3. Especially the girl twirling the PS3/GT5 flag in the last video.
NIS America is localizing this. They often (if not always) try to keep Japanese voices if they can. The chances of this game having Japanese voices is between "Yes" and "very likely".
@vhero people who bought the original will have perks for having done so in the first place, including what has just been revealed in this article: you can skip replaying the first game if you've already cleared it.
@oliverasadi That's because Hayter is more of a screenplay writer than an actor or voice actor these days.
PCS has been around for quite a while, though not in such an organized fashion as we've seen recently with XNA, LBP and MNR.
RPG Maker is one of the older series of game/platforms on PC made for creating specific genres of user generated content. I always wondered if someone would make a new installment in that series with a specific goal of promoting PCS on PC.
It's actually an amazing backstory. It also inverts the roles of who's ultimately the bad guy in the end.
Isn't it ironic that the character in your avatar is Sabin, a character from the world's best known JRPG franchise?
More or less. Though the article could have been far more accurate if its tagline simply added "today" at the end. These are definitely near the top of the pile this generation (with Demon's Souls as a whole being higher than this entire list).
But isn't there supposed to be a gorgon soul attack? Unless I'm forgetting something critical about Titan that prevents using it.
In all fairness, Sony explicitly said you won't be able to use PSN or play newer content that requires updating the system. This includes Blu-ray player enhancements (3D, other tweaks) as well as new games.
Short of connecting to PSN and using its associated functions, you can do everything you could do prior to 3.21's release.
Final Fantasy is a Square Enix franchise and they're especially finicky when it comes to loaning their IPs to other companies for "versus" style games. They prefer doing all the work (including publishing and all that), so I doubt Namco Bandai would add such games to their list of projected games for 2010/2011.
So they're projecting 13 new PS3 games for the next year and 8 for 360. Knowing Namco Bandai, most if not all 360 games are also going to end up being PS3 games. Next up is the PS Move games that might be Wii game ports (what, two of them?) so that leaves us with a worst-case scenario of 3 PS3 exclusives.
That is, of course, barring any of the Wii games in that projection are also doubled up as PS Move games, which could effectively eradicate the entire term "exclu...
I'm hoping this title means it's a new series.
Err... All of these things are explained within the first hour of the game, save for two.
Still, it's a decent list of things most FFXIII players should keep in mind if they want an optimal advantage against monsters.
I really hope so. It would be a shame if anything Studio Ghibli or Level-5 didn't manage to get released over here.
