Nobody seems to mention that this system was already implemented in the past of the Killzone series. Killzone: Liberation had such "perks" for single and multiplayer modes.

I can assure you that Final Fantasy 7 hasn't aged well at all, either. Moreso, since it's early-3D era compared to Suikoden's end-of-2D-sprites era.

Then again, I can see why Suikoden is inferior to Suikoden 2 in every aspect except one: faithfulness to the base story.

That's some good reader's choice. The PS3 version blunders didn't make Fallout 3 deserve the best RPG.

@1.3
Why would Sony market a game SEGA developed and published? Sony already helped out by giving the game some advert space on their numerous websites and featuring it more than once on the PS Blog.

So basically, all new computers will have an arcade-styled coin slot for extra hour-credits?

This is getting more and more ridiculous.

They're blatantly called "7 trophies in moments" stages.

Where's Suikoden Tierkreis?

Hrm..

Wait, what? There are less than three games on PSN that are $9.99

This is massive news. While yes, I'd love for Suikoden 2 to be released on PSN, I'm mostly looking forward to it because it'll drastically lower the price of the discs on eBay. Gotta have me the whole set, and I'm only missing 2 and the Japan-only releases (Gaiden Vol. 1 & 2, Card Stories).

Even North America didn't get their Store update yet. Give things time. SCEE and SCEA have updated the Store far into the next day in the past.

I can also confirm that this isn't how you unlock the final skins in the PS3 version as well. It's like the console versions were bugged, or Ubisoft will make them DLC because they can...

They will, actually.

They're basically asking people to test drive MGO on official servers.

Don't worry, they'll make Monster Hunter Freedom 3 in due time. Capcom owns the PSP, anyway.

The problem comes from other sites quoting VGTilt as a very reliable source. With this, VGTilt lost it all.

The complete lack of any Final Fantasy and only one Dragon Quest branded game this year pretty much explains why everything's down.

Last year saw Dragon Quest 4, Crisis Core, FF4, FFXII:RW, FFCC:RoF, FFT:WOTL, FFTA2, FF.. You see what I mean?

Amazing, they just got Bushido Blade and SaGa Frontier...

*Cries*

When will PSN NA and EU figure out how much they direly need to add more PSOne games. Especially rare ones.

Balthier FTW. I liked playing as the Final Fantasy version of James Bond.

Besides, think about how awesome fighting Vayne would be.

This review is a joke. Aside from the "LOL GAMEDAILY" stuff, the reviewer obviously didn't even play the game.

Game isn't even turn based. It's one of the instigators of the Action RPG genre.

I'll definitely agree there. Even the downloadable "Hero" and "Superhero" (Hard, Super Hard) modes for MM9 changed up the entire enemy composition of stages in order to create a new challenge, not make things harder to kill.

I'll also agree with the article on the LittleBigPlanet stuff: I'm a platforming vet, yet I still die on stages. Whether it be an odd jump or a missed grab, I don't blame the game for my own mistakes.

Quite a few employees at game studios were former modders. Many people who made mods for games like Unreal Tournament and Quake ended up in teams that worked on sequels or new IP.

LBP is heavily based on level design, so it obviously caters to the level designer crowd. If they implemented limited programming, it would also cater to them, too.
