Planet 360 is on drugs...Gears 3 is by far the most anticipated game for the 360 this year. Preorders alone tell the story..but Gears will also have the largest midnight release crowd outside of MW3.
It doesn't mean that Batman isn't anticipated but nowhere close on the level of Gears.

What dividends? Pushing 500k in June..let alone sales have been pretty consistent the entire year. Kinect definitely is a big part of it. As for what I'm playing? I'm still finishing LA Noire and bought the DLC pass to finish the new cases.. I bought and love Child of Eden for Kinect and I still haven't opened my Fear 3. Nice troll attempt though..:

They have a unique situation with no real comp this holiday for what they are doing..but Wii U will sell out next holiday while the 360 and PS3 and 360 will be in price cut mode.

Microsoft had another back to back great June NPD..one year after Slim came onboard..but no one saw 500k coming. The Kinect factor keeps paying dividends as well.
The funny part is people talk about the decline of the Wii sales like it matters..when you sell d@mn near 90 million consoles in one gen you can't expect to keep that high clip of sales forever. I always joke that owning a Wii is like owning a microwave..everyone has one.

I've said this from day one..Twisted Metal should have made the E3 stage this year as well. Even a new trailer would have worked with some new announcements on added gameplay features.
The game absolutely looks great and Jaffe seems pretty stoked about how it's all coming together, but I still feel like you have to present games of this nature as a priority to the public. Because if they don't feel like it's a priority then they get overlooked at retail.

The fact is NONE of my original, Elite and now Slim have failed. NOne of my 360s that we given as gifts have failed. I wont lie and say that when the problem arose it made me take procautions in my handling such as keeping the 360 in a place were it didn't promote overheating. But, that survey was pure Fail then and it is now.

I actually own 3 fitness games for Kinect...When EA Active dropped from 99 dollars to 40 I snapped it up and got Biggest Loser as well.
But it was Fitness Evolved that made me a fan of Kinect fitness. The immesrion is simply unparalleled in fitness games. Own Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus as well.
