For what WiiU is offering, I can't see it being released for anything under $299.
Sweet spot or not, Nintendo is not trying to price itself out of business. That thing is going to sell through the roof.

Microsoft was smart to make Kinect upgradeable through software. I remember when the announced this decision and all the fan bloggers pretended this was going to hurt Kinect so much that the games would be extremely limited. Post launch it's clear that it's a great decision.

The game's only fault was it didn't sell. So what if Rare decided to turn a decade old franchise into so much more. It's funny now you have games doing the whole 'create' thing and getting love..
The author of this article is simply playing a game that was released in 2008 and is now backseat driving what it should have done to be what in his opinion would have made it better. Which is essentially they should have kept it more of a platformer.
Love Peter..easily one of my favorite figures this gen. IMO he is pure entertainment and I love his passion for gaming. Actually Kinect is the only platform one of the only platform really trying to make GOOD games in the children's genre.
Anybody who has kids, younger relatives, family in general know how hard it is to entertain young kids with the tech we have. You end up buying Leap Start or whatever these psuedo video cartridge based systems with horrible graphics and production values.
