Live is on fire with 45 Million active with a chance at 55 Million by Jan
Even the most optimistic of analysts couldn't have predicted what Kinect's success at pushing console sales.
The Staples like Halo and Gears continue to dominate retail and show no sign of letting up.
The 360 is hitting it's stride at the perfect time..while the competition is about to wage a handheld war and the new consoles won't be in stores fo...
Rainbow Six 1 on the 360 which ended up being a timed-exclusive (6 months later on the PS3), was by ar one of the biggest suprises this gen.
The shootouts in and out of the casinos were simply phenominal at the time.
Where people don't give credit to Rainbox six is the co-op snd Terrorist Hunt..which is absolute CRACK and was out way before we got Horde mode type multi in most games these days.
The launch of 360s Ghost Recon and Rainbo...
LMAO @ pretending that if you say you own all three consoles you can't be trolling.
'The WiiU reference is because Microsoft is going after the casual market that is owned by Nintendo'
Welcome to last year..The 'casual market is owned by Nintendo' was valid umm..about 10 million Kinects sold ago.
Who cares if YOU don't like Kinect. You might as well hate PS3 for Move and the Wii as well for 'tacking on motio...
It'd be too easy to counter any of your statements..but why bother..
LMAO @ bringing WiiU up in a Forza 4 article comment section..Who is ACTUALLY the 'desperate' one?
If that's all trolls can 'reach' for then nobody is laughing with you..umm..you know the rest
On topic..
Turn 10 is doing something right if the average troll is this mad over one comment about the upcoming game's graphics

Thx and +bubz to humbleopinion for hilarious troll pwn..
What's that about wheel support again..

Sweet..FEAR 3 sounds like it's going tro erase the sequel-itus and return to the form of the original..John Carpenter's writing FTW..

YESSSS...never had the chance to pick it up..almost bought used..not anymore

I mean, it's like playing a fighter without a dedicated fighting stick.
No it's not..because it has wheel support and the wheel support is a blast..play it with the wireless 360 Wheel and love it..it's so accessible that I've used it multiple times as a party game w/ all the asssists..friends and family love it.
Look..if you don't like it don't buy it..easily day one for me..the behind doors 30 min preview vid sold me in spades..
...
LMAO @ pretending that the average player cares about the degrees of the wheel.I play with a wheel and it definately didn't effect what really mattered and that's the fun factor..nor did it effect Metacritic
The 'miracle' is the graphical improvement between games and how accessible it was to non-degree counting sim 'freaks' as well as the gear heads..
So if you want a real car..log off nd drive one..as for the game..still can'...
Forza 3 already was outstanding..these guys created a miracle product in the two years between Forza 2 and Forza 3..it looks like Turn 10 did again.
These guys are the Naughty Dog for Microsoft..getting the best out their perspective systems..can't wait to get behind the wheel of Forza 4..
About to finally get some serious time with Forza 3 trhis summer before the fall

Maybe for you..Fable 2 is on of my fave games this gen..even G4TV gave it game of the year at the time. I have NEVER played an RPG that sucked me in to play it 3 times in a row..and enjoyed every minute.
Evil
I concur..the lind are beginning to see..sleeper of the year..worth the wait

Game looks way better then E3 led people to believe. Hope Lionhead sets the standard for what Kinect can do with RPG elements.

LOl @ this fan blogger pretending Peter is b ashing the device..REeeeeeeech..
Peter is the biggest fan of Kinect..he demoed Fable: The Journey on G4TV and couldn't have been more thrilled.
Just because he's stating the obvious about the challenges of the input (no controller..no duh) doesn't mean he's 'spouting' off..but you know how the haters got to spin it.
Bottomline..Micrsoft asked one oftheir lead developer...
Well said 'hay'..
I salute Gearbox for tackling the IP and keeping what was fun about Duke in the first place. But since the game got hit by the review bash test I expect it to go on sale for 49.99 in the very near future in hopes of garnering another bump I. Sales. I call it the 'Dragon Age 2' effect. Thats when I'll jump back in and continue from by Redbox save. Again worth the buy for fans and I hope the game still finds success.

Rented it from Red Box and it confirmed that the reviewers were hating HARD. IMO the sense of nostalgia playing Duke is off the charts.
Now I'm only a quarter of a way through the game, but from what I see if you were a die-hard Duke fan then I'd highly recomment it. For everyone else its definately not in the same leeague as some of the Elite shooters in the game (ie. Halo Reach, COD etc).
At the same time, it's not trying to be. The game doe...
I agree Duncan..the fact that we can now earn achievements for this timeless classic was priceless...

I still play the original Fitness Evolved. Absolutely the best overall fitness game this gen. It was so good I bought the EA Active and Biggest Loser to see if they were as fun. They all have their upside, but as far as immersion, hands down Fitness Evolved.
Look forward to this years version

My bad, never played Gears... is it a zombie infection or something? I've just never bothered
If you've 'never bothered' then how can you make statements that it's just 'another' alien shooter? That would be like me never playing Uncharted and saying that it's just 'another' Tomb Raider clone. But, hey everyone has their preference and if Uncharted is yours then there is nothing wrong with that. Both games are the cream of the indust...
LOL @ the usual suspects in troll mode..the designer of controller wrote a reply in the comments section of the article:
'Hi All! I am the original designer of Project K. Visit the blog here:
I was tipped by a friend that my design has been posted on Gamerevolution.com. I am extremely flattered to see my work elsewhere on the web!
