Despite the usual hate, the 360 is having a huge year. Again, no one could predict these kinds of NPD numbers not matter how you shake it.
In fact, these numbers are bothering the haters so much that they are now insulting the U.S. and making up reasons as to why the 360 is doing well.

Absolutely LOVED the first game..can't wait for Prey 2. Still one of my all-time fave games to grace the 360.
It's a shame it didn't do the numbers it deserved, but I love that they are revisiting the franchise in a big way.

I love the fact that they included darts. Between Kinect Sports and the sequel you got two of the best motion control party games out there.
Still have a blast playing bowling for shots the same as we did the day Kinect was released.
I love Move's Top Darts, but that last I heard KS2's Darts didn't include cricket, which IMO is a glaring ommision. But, I'm hoping they release the option as DLC in the future.

Micrsoft pushed Gears back to the huge September slot.
Halo ODST and Halo Reach were released back-to-back years in the same time frame and both games went oon to sell millions.
Originally, Gears was going to be released in the first quarter. Which the truth be known would have been worse.
September is actually the best chance Gears has had in it's history.

Why wouldn't you have your best developers working on games that could improve the catalogue.
Fable is perfect. If anybody played Fable 3 it was clear that Lionhead had intitially intended for it to have Kinect interface. But that would have simply been tacked on. Peter was right ...
Kinect Star Wars was never the 360 'flagship' title for the holidays (even for
Kinect).
Releasing the game knowing the quality wasn't up to snuff would have only have hurt Kinect. Pushbacks for quality have happened for many titles including Twisted Metal for the PS3.
If I were them I'd push the game back deep into 2012, allowing the developers to add way more content and allow another E3 to give the game some momentum.

The last time we got a campaign and Multi on seperate discs was ODST and it worked out perfectly.
It's the same non-issue for 360 gamers, especially when your going to be playing the campaign disc on a limited basis.
The multi-disc will be the one that is going to get the most run anyways.
The game is going to make huge waves on both consoles in October...but for me..Just like BC, BC2, and the Dice-assisted Medal of Honor..Battlefie...
I'm with White lightning..was a huge SH fan back in the day and wow I can't believe they actually Had to redo the voice acting. Definately tarnished the memory for the fans. Can you imagine seeing an Blu Ray update to one of you fsvorite movies or shows (lets say animate) of all time and hearing a completely different voice than the one you remember?

I only hate the DS3 for shooters. The 360 controller works like a dream for shooters.
I actually bought the older '360 imitation' controller for the PS3. It worked ok for some games but you needed the official controller for certain games or it didn't work as well.
It has been done before, but if this is a better controller..you can count me in.

Sp far, Moves Top Darts is the best dart game on the market. was hoping KS2 would provide so serious comp in that department.
