Just remember people: Sony is developing their next gen hardware WITH the colaboration of their gaming development studios.....imagine what will be possible with that...
This is what a developer should be like. Make its own tools better and better, develop its engine to its highest point (till the next hardware comes), exploiting the actual hardware to the maximum. Not the devs we see pushing for next gen because they dont want to do the hard work of fine tunning their engines for the actual hardware...lazy arses....ND IS the best developer team this gen hands down.
Ha.....after saying FY to Sony, their fans and even their own devs and IPs, its well deserved.
This was obviously made so everyone was happy. The multiplats won the most 'important' awards, so everyone is happy.
As much as I like to play Skyrim, its a bug fest as as such I cant see it as the best game of the year. There are CRIPPLING bugs on this game. Get over it and move on.
Anyway, the fanboys are mostly happy, so lets move on also.
So much for the best game of the year.....with such a crippling game error like this one on the three platforms (this are also occurring on PCs....to a minor dregree because we all have 4+GB of ram...but its coming sooner rather than later for some)...I do hope Bethesda resolve this...if they can.
With the X360, you sure are/was....but them again, you get what you pay for.
As for Sony...
People asking for more, SHOULD pay more. Sony made us pay for a PSOne+PS2+PS3+BD player/media hud in the beggining, and they made it CHEAP (600USD cheap...for all that, it sure was.)
BUt Sony had to make the PS3 cheaper, more affordable, and the culling happend....the same people complaining about the price are the ones complaining about the features being go...
The Wii proves that PRICE matters most than anything else....if it wasnt so damn cheap, the Wiimote (and its guimicky games) wouldnt be so successfull, the 3DS prooved it. With that price at lauch, it bombed. HARD. As soon as the price went down, the sales came. JUst now that some actual good games are out, they are exploding, but if the price was still high, they wouldnt.
Try to sell a Wii for 299 or 399 USD and see if it would sell as good as it did....
I like to think that Spirits Within is one of that blunders that great peopel are prone to get sooner or later. It just happend with someone who was at the top for years....I even liked the movie back then (today I think its somewhat stupid..heck I dont even want to know where its my dvd copy...).

Why the hell the animations on the SW Universe games are so far better than the movies???? Its just astounding....the CG are always better than whatever GL put on the toons, movies and every thing else...just like the Extended Universe in the books/comics/games.
Anyway, I remember seeing this a few MONTHS ago....the game promises a lot, and Im hoping it stays true to its promise.

I'll give you ONE reason not to buy a Wii: the Wii U is coming oh so soon....and it will problably be retro compatible an so whatever game you want to play on the Wii will be playable in it...and then Im betting that Skyward Sword (and maybe the most recentgames...) will be upgraded and launched to the Wii U with HD resolution and so on....

Just to make something out of this: me and my friends resolved to see how MW3 graphics engine evolved..and surprise, the same old pc(6 year old one I still have around for a ftp server)specs we've played MW1 on top settings played MW3 at what some would say medium/low settings....no evolving there at all...while I do hope it was some amazing graphics engine optimization, its not likely taking in count it is Activision where talking about....
Einhander was a b****...last chapeter, no continues used, just a ferw mins of getting the 2 last ships (if I remeber right, you had to beat the game without continues to unlock them...in the harder modes) and I lost my last 5 lives in that damn mins......I dont try that game in the last 10 years (most lack of time) but damn Im pissed for those lost oportunities....

People nowadays dont really care about boss fights...not when they want to move as fast as they can to the multiplayer part of the game.....

This game just happens on the Metal Gear universe, use its characters and such. Its not a MGS game. Get over it and move on.
