GTA used to be associated strickly with the PS name, now its going to be considered the gimped version on PS3 while the 360 gets the complete definitive version
you say that your a sonyfanboy, oks, and that your getting the ps3 version of GTA4, but do you really have a 360? and if you do, that makes you a pretty weak sonyfanboy since you already caved in and bought your arch enemy.

umm.. i'm a 360 owner and i agree with you. I thought from day one with ps3 we would see big differences since they hyped up the Cell so much.
maybe in due time, it will be easier, less costly and much more developer friendly to cross over multi-plat games to the ps3.....then maybe they can bump up textures and resolution. But it seems to me PS3 needs more memory (just like the 360) to really take advantage of its advanced CPU

"why would someone buy GTA4 for PS3 if they owned both consoles?..." and I got so many replies saying they would still buy it for PS3.

Perfect Dark was good, goldeneye is the classic that anybody that had a n64 is going to want to play.

I'm a HUGE gears fanatic, and there are ALOT of MGS fanatics over on the PS side, but we should all agree that GTA will dominate over all other games this year.

and lets not forget how Gears 1 blew EVERYONE away in the graphics department from first look. And there seems to be alot of advancements in the Unreal engine, so you know those guys at epic are so looking to raise the bar, and want not only another GOTY award but Graphics of the Year award again like 2006
umm... ps3fanboys always refer to uncharted, yet not one mag, website, article give it graphics of the year, actually it was never even a contender, it was always bioshock, crysis, and call of duty 4.
seems like you guys wanna hold on to hope and claim uncharted has the best graphics, which it DOES NOT. just cause you guys keep repeating it, doesn't make it true

This year looks mighty sweet for 360, especially with Gears 2 on board.
And your right, the ONLY game they got going for them is MGS4, because FF is not making it this year and we all know GT prologue is just a teaser demo with only five tracks (but some of you might actually be stupid enough to pay full price for it)
Res2 might possibly be good, but will most definitley get stomped on by GEARS.. in fact, being MGS4 is PSs flagship game, lets see how well it sell...

MGS? are you referring to Metal gear? MGS4 already has a release date in June, i believe.
