Why did an article that hardly has any information get promoted instead of the source article, which actually has tons of information?
Sounds like you haven't played a good one. N.O.V.A. 2 and Modern Combat 3 are fantastic, and Dead Space is a great third-person shooter.
No, it won't be. Could they make an FPS spin-off, though? Sure. And I'm pretty sure that was already leaked a long time ago.
The Dead Space engine is EA's engine, too.
This doesn't even remotely matter. As long as what they're editing is true and relevant, it doesn't matter if it's positive. They shouldn't be removing any negative true (and relevant) statements, though.
Every company does it. And they should, to be blunt. The more informative a Wikipedia article, the better for everyone -- users, companies, haters, lovers, everyone.
You know you're getting trolled when someone says "Can't wait for this" in regards to a good game and gets more disagrees than agrees.
To those not aware: Ritual had some financial difficulties and was later bought by MumboJumbo, and they've been making casual games since then (well, technically Ritual is MumboJumbo now).
I hope so, though. The first was underrated.
Boring? Not even remotely. It's a great puzzle game. If you don't like puzzle games, perhaps you shouldn't review it.
Yes.
Easiest response ever.
The two biggest things I'd like to see:
- More variety: Make the campaigns play differently in some way each time. Perhaps alternate paths, as someone mentioned above, or unique events that are randomly generated.
- A singleplayer mode: I know this sounds like blasphemy since Valve already has Half-Life and Portal, but I really think this would lend itself well to a dedicated singleplayer mode with a continuous story that you could have friends drop in and out of ...
Why do all gaming sites have a fundamental misunderstanding of what Kinect for Windows is for right now? It's for development. It's not really for public consumption -- no games even support it at this point in time. The SDK is required to use it, and Microsoft's providing certain additional development tools (voice updates, for instance).
Seriously, it takes all of two seconds to research this information. If you get Kinect for Windows and aren't a developer ...
I agree with you that it went downhill after that, but that part on is nothing like Crysis 2. Crysis 2 is a great game in its own right, it just took a different direction.
I think he meant it's weird it's only for sale on PSN.
I love how great these always look, but I dislike it when they change the art style at times. Still, I'll download and give it a shot.
Why do I believe it's past tense? Well, let's look at some recent releases from EA's internal studios (roughly the last five years):
- Dead Space (88% aggregate)
- Dead Space 2 (89% aggregate)
- Battlefield 3 (85% aggregate)
- Medal of Honor (75% aggregate)
- Dante's Inferno (75% aggregate)
- Dragon Age (88% aggregate)
- Dragon Age II (78% aggregate)
- Mass Effect (90% aggregate)
- Mass Effect 2 (94% aggre...
Co-sign. Dead Space 2 is amazing, and easily a GOTY contender that people are forgetting. I think the puzzles were the perfect difficulty. They were on par with Half-Life 2's puzzle difficulty.
Are you being serious? It's not the "flavor for now." People used to hate EA because they milked their franchises without making sure of quality. Now they've made new franchises (like Mirror's Edge, Dead Space and Mass Effect) and almost all their sequels are pretty high quality.
Activision, meanwhile, has ruined more franchises than it has nurtured. And Call of Duty seems to be headed down that same path. They have few new franchises, and their money-ma...
Not a single exclusive will "change 2012"?
This page has been up for quite some time, it just got updated with the "coming soon" section and night sky background.
Why is it that whenever a good title's released for XBLA or PSN, the opposite side's fanboys always yell, "that doesn't count! It's not a retail release!"
Who gives a crap? A game is a game is a game. If it's good, it's good. Some of the most fun I've had this generation has come from XBLA/PSN games.
