GOW COO&GOS, MGS PO&PW, KZ: liberation, Dissidia and Daxter were arguably 90's... but you must give a lot of mini's 90's if you can think of hundreds.

I liked 2's story, but 3's wasn't questionable, it was horrible. The whole game was about climbing mount Olympus to kill Zeus. *SPOILERS*
You needed to get Pandora's box in GoW1 just to kill Ares, then Zeus took that power away in GoW2, so you had to go back in time to get the blade of Olympus to kill Zues. In GoW3, you killed... what.. 5 gods? without much trouble. When you killed Zeus, it turns out you didn't get the power to turn into a giant, instead ...

ME3 has more RPG elements than ME2. I found myself searching for 10% damage bonuses and Sheild and power upgrades in ME2. And I tried to get more paragon for conversations my second playthrough, such as the end of Tali's loyalty mission.
Yes, it's lighter than ME1, but deeper than what you guys say. As I said, ME3 will be deeper than 2, with much better combat. BTW, "TPS elements" for a game with TPS combat just sounds dumb.
That first comment you look like a troll, now I see your point. I just didn't like the scripted moments in BF3, but liked them in MW3. BF3 just had no good characters, minus maybe in cutscenes. The story was bland, and the gameplay had nothing interesting. It should have been put into the MP. MW3 had a decent story, with good characters and good gameplay. Scriptedness had nothing do with it.
He didn't mention MW3 though, if you just said "any linear game", ...
MW3 scripted moments > BF3 scripted moments. Find something in BF3 that was as good as the plane crash.
Define "great". You couldn't pay me to beat it, the only other game i've said that to is Hydrophobia: Prophecy, which was a cheap PSN game. Emotions? The characters are walking planks.

What's wrong with him? At least he's honest, whereas a lot of reviewers look like they're being paid to raise the score. He gave MvC3 a 6/10, whereas sites like IGN gave it a 7.5. Mortal Kombat got a 9 and was in his top 10 for 2011. DAII was one of his most anticipated of 2011, he gave it a 7, whereas IGN gave it an 8.5.

Probably the score l'd give it too. I think it's better than WAW, but COD4, MW2 and BO are all better. It's still great, but the next one better be a huge improvement, or I probably won't bother with it.
What were you doing for 300 hours... Dark Souls is my GOTY, and i'm bored after 184 hours (which is my most played game).

Agreed. I actually thought Raiden was a good main character, I was disappointed when it was him, but he got better. Second to me would be Portable Ops, I liked having to drag people into the truck for recruitment, over the parachuting in PW.
It deserves it... but I wouldn't even put it in my top 5. Dark Souls deserved a lot more awards than it got, and Infamous 2 should have won a few best PS3/GOTY awards. Instead it won nothing, and UC3 took EVERY best PS3 GOTY, which was also great. But Infamous 2 was equal, if not better IMO.
You're one of the complainers that said Dark Souls was too hard. I remember you saying that it's easier to kill a real Rat than play DS.
Not really in reply to you, I think the combat is good, almost as good as God of War's. But the camera controls were garbage (based on demo). I had to adjust the camera because it was so laggy... and I could only make it move faster, it was still laggy. The camera angle was also distracting. Maybe the PC version is better.
Ever since they changed it to 2 PS3's per account, online passes have been extremely annoying, even though I buy most of my games new. I can't play on U3 on anymore than 2 PS3's. So even though I got it new, i'm still being punished.

They showed the skill tree, it was bigger than ME2's and while smaller than ME1's, there will be a more variations of the powers. In ME2 you leveled a power to the top level and got to evolve it in one way or another, there will be more of those options in ME3. The level cap is back to 60.

I don't see the problem anyways, if i'm enjoying a game, I don't care if it's COD8, Uncharted 3, Infamous1&2 or Souls.
