I guess. But they could go for a more serious story like they had in GTAIV, where satire wasn't the main point.
Hate it. Trees aren't unique to The Last of Us, why base the entire design around them? Take the logo away, and it could be for any game. And who the hell wants a logo like that on the console or the controller? Got of War's one was the best looking PS4 yet.
I think you missed Phil's point.
It was like that in the original game though, so they probably couldn't just turn it into a cutscene.
I mean, a 5/10 is supposed to be average on a 10 point system. I can certainly see this game to be deemed well below average playing solo.
I'd probably agree with this score to be honest. Human Fall Flat had a good balance between good and bad controls, to go along some good level design. The controls here offer less control, and not being able to grip everything makes it unpleasant to play. The level design, by nature, isn't as good as H:FF. It's too buggy on ...
So basically, you want a glorified remaster? If the only thing that changes is the visuals, then what exactly has been remade? Just go play the original again if it's such a crime.
Hideous.
In Borderlands 3, the combat is just as unrefined as 2. Side quests are still easy to out-level, therefore rendering a good chunk of them far too easy. Pretty much all the side quests still revolve around a fetch quest formula, only now the dialogue isn't good enough for them to be enjoyable. Worlds are still a chore to drive around, due their bland nature and the stale driving.
Destiny 2 has more refined gunplay. The raids have far more interesting level design than an...
More like most disappointing game of 2019. The story, characters and dialogue were absolutely terrible, which is a shame after how good they were in Borderlands 2 and Tales.
The problem there is that the gameplay is still no better than Borderlands 2. Destiny 2, like it or not, has better gameplay than Borderlands 2, especially with the high frame rates on PC. That's to be expected for a game released 5 years later.
Now in the case of Borderlands 3, i...
I like it. Looking at the PS4/Pro however, I wouldn't be shocked if it ends up being a triangle
Take Kojima's name off it, and there's no way in hell it would have won so many awards.
I'm in the same boat. I see many people, including a few I know personally, say it's one of the best games ever made. The IGN review claimed that Royal is the best JRPG of all time. I absolutely hate that I can't get into it.
There hasn't been many split screen co-op games as good as Resident Evil 5, since it came out. Not a great Resident Evil, but a good game either way.
Going by these comments, having the weaker hardware is not only what game developers asked for, but it's not even going to be a problem due to the "secret weapon" of an SSD? Such nonsense.
Yes, Playstation is the bigger brand, so PS5 will inevitably sell more. Yes, Sony will likely continue being the best games publisher out there. But give credit where it's due, the extra power of the Series X, and the studios they've acquired/created will lead to th...
It's a third of the price of a brand new full release, for what is the weakest third of a more than 10 year old game. It's a ripoff.
If they were concerned about the playerbase, they could have released the whole game in two months. At least you'd have a slightly staggered release schedule between entries that way. As it stands, releasing the game a third at a time will severely lower the impact a full MW2 remaster should have had.
Stock up on Mountain Dew and Doritos, and play Call of Duty all day
Doesn't help that it's 100gb
"Meh, we were only going to talk about Smash for another 90 minutes anyway"
The Witcher 3 was overrated, and not nearly the size of Final Fantasy VII.
Yeah, instead of making hardware than runs it automatically. Great job Sony
